Dh and I went to dinner at Red Lobster ... neither one of us are a fan of their food, but we had a gift cert. (that's another story). The food kinda sucked, but the biscuits were sooooo yummy... they had these chunks of butter/cheese and I think garlic in them. yummy.gif

I want to make them at home...anyone have a recipe for them?

Here's the recipe in case the web site above ever changes the link:

RED LOBSTER CHEDDAR BAY BISCUITS
Source: Orlando Sentinel Newspaper

2 C. Bisquick
2/3 C. milk
1/2 C. shredded Cheddar cheese
1/2 C. butter or margarine, melted
1/4 tsp. garlic powder

Preheat oven to 450ºF.

Mix Bisquick, milk and cheese until a soft dough forms. Drop by spoonsful onto an ungreased cooking sheet. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until golden brown. Mix butter and garlic powder. Brush mixture over warm biscuits before removing from cookie sheet.

Yummy, that does sound good and easy. Another thought for those of you who hate to cook - and if you have a Schwan's delivery service - they have a cheddar biscuit that's about as good as Red Lobster's - just thaw and bake!
