I am looking for an e reader for under $200 and I know nothing about them........which are good, easy to load books cheap etc...I heard the kindle isn't great because you have to use amazon books....so I am a bit lost. I heard the Kobo from Walmart was good, but again I know nothin!

We have the Barnes and Noble Nook (technically two of them) they are great. you can get any book from Barnes and Noble but also anything in epub so you can get them from anywhere. The new ones with wifi only are I believe $150

I got a Kindle for Christmas. I have no problem using Amazon books, they have everything I want anyway. I love it. I always have a few "books" in my purse now.

I was thinking of buying a iPad for the e-book reading. Don't know yet though.

That's what we have and love it. It's so much more than an e-reader though.
