What am I going to do with this girl...

Happy Spring! Group: Administrators Posts: 27,473 Member No.: 2 Joined: 8-February 03	As most of you know, Ashley was grounded last week for lying. We had a big long chat about it and she was taking her punishment in stride although I know it was eating her up inside. Anyways, she wanted to stay up a 1/2-hour later last night to watch a show. She is now ungrounded and I let her. I told her she could if she went straight to sleep when she went to bed. (She usually lays in bed for an hour or so before she finally falls asleep). I told that if she stayed up, that once she went to bed, she couldn't ask for any drinks of water, extra hugs, to be tucked in again, or whine that she couldn't sleep and ask if she could read for awhile (all of her common tactics). So, she looks at me and says, "But, Mom... all of those things are true and you don't want to lie to you again!" Calm and Tranquil! Group: Moderators Posts: 9,565 Member No.: 189 Joined: 23-May 03	Kids say and do the funniest things. Ashley is such a sweetheart! Claudia is like that as well. Yesterday at the hospital I looked over at Claudia and she had her eyes closed and her tongue sticking out and when I asked her what she was doing she said "I'm playing dead!" Then today she put the magic bag on her forehead and asked me to feel her forehead. I was in a panic before she told me what she had done. --------------------
