Well, we had my 8 week ultrasound this morning and...

We have a nubbin. It's definitely in there, only ONE sorry Jennifer. heart rate 154. I will post pics if I can figure out how to work the scanner. There really isn't much to see, its just a white blob in a dark ring. wink.gif

I don't know what I want, boy or girl, they both present me with unique challenges, I will get what I get. either way.
We are thinking Christopher Joesph or Christopher Curtis for a boy and Claire Rose or Claire Ann for a girl.
I'm supposed to name it after my grandma if it is a girl, but she is Delores Marian, and my Mom Is Constance Delores, so, yeah... not happening. rolleyes.gif

why are you supposed to name her after your grandma? The name Delores or Dolores, which is the original spelling comes from the word dolor in Spanish, which means pain, so I'm not a big fan of that name.
You could just give her a D name, like Danielle or something like that if you want to carry out the obligation. As I was just telling Rachel in her name spelling thread, it's a common theme in Judaism where we always name children after a deceased relative or perhaps after a deceased biblical character (obviously there are no non-deceased biblical characters, lol) like Sarah, David, etc. First letter uses are common--my name is Jennifer after my grandpa Jacob and my Hebrew name is Leah, after my grandpa Leo.
but the name Claire works too. happy.gif

IDK. its some stupid family tradition. Christopher would be after my grandma in a way, because it is similar to her maiden name, Claire would be after my grandpa Clarence.

You scared me! I thought you were saying you're having twins!!

Whatever the sex is, I hope the baby is healthy and so are you during your pregnancy.

You don't have to name it after anybody. It's you and your husband's baby, nobody elses. wink.gif
