We left him at my SIL's sleep.gif I haven't cried, but have been close. And now I'm really nervous about Kade's sleeping, especially while we are at the hospital. My BIL and SIL get up at around 6:30 to get ready for work every day, and Kade normally sleeps anywhere from 8:30-9:30. So, on top of having a newborn (who will be up around every 2 hours), I'm afraid Kade will be all off in his sleeping too. I just wish I could take him to the hospital with me! I keep trying to tell myself it's only three nights...that won't be long enough to get him all messed up will it? At least not permanently, right?

If it helps to think about it this way, they are going to just be goo goo all over him and kissing him tons, and holding him and spoiling him, and it might not be that you have to get him back into a sleep schedule, but that you are going to have to tell him you cant hold him as much as they are going too! he will be swarmed with one on one love for those three days...and you might not need the three days either..I pray its only two just for peace of mind..
I know just how you feel..I was the same way, and Jakob was really young like Kade when we had andrew...He had no trouble at all, and we had never left him..they just kept him so busy with toys and just one thing after another..I am sure your family will do that too.

Try no to worry. I know, that's like telling water not to be wet, but he will be fine. Probably better than fine... he'll have a great time and your family will no doubt have a great time having him.
And you may very well only have to stay 2 nights at the hospital, depending on how things are. (I only stayed 2 nights with each of my boys. I would have come home after the first night with Waylon if they had let me!)
You'll see --- everything will be just fine. hug.gif hug.gif hug.gif

How did his first night away go? And I understand your worries especially since Kade is so young. I'm sure he will be just fine and will have a blast!
