I'm -negative again, but I'm not happy

Diamond Member Group: Members Posts: 20,387 Member No.: 28 Joined: 1-March 03	So after waiting a week to get the results for my last blood tests, I was told my hcg is negative and was given the ok to TTC again. I should be happy about this, but I'm not.....I guess in my mind I had it set that some miracle would happen and I'd still be pregnant (how absolutely silly is that???). I'm having such a hard time moving on from this loss and I know I'm not ready to TTC again. When I had my m/c I had to go in for a u/s after I'd already lost the baby and stopped bleeding because I was not convinced that my baby was gone. I didn't fully believe it until I saw for myself that there was nothing in there. I wanted to try again right away - I got my first period 3 weeks after the m/c and then got pg with Allie two weeks after that. It was what we wanted, but I had a hard time with it for the first couple months at least. I was still wishing for the baby I'd lost, and just couldn't seem to get excited about being pregnant again for awhile. I was glad too, but at the same time it was hard to be happy about a baby that wouldn't have been there if I hadn't lost the other one. I think if we had waited just another month or two it would have been a little easier... as it happened so little time passed between my miscarriage and getting pregnant again, and it still seemed to me that I should still be pregnant with the baby we lost. The point in all my rambling is that if you don't feel ready yet then it won't hurt to wait another few weeks.
