My mother was telling me the other day about a cookies that she used to give to me when I was teething. It was called "baby Bones"
Does anyone have a nice hard cookie recipe or store bought that they can reccomend for my little girl? Thanks Patricia |

I wouldn't give a 4 month od hard cookies, but that is just me! When my kids were teething or chewing I would give them frozen fruit or vegys in the NUBY mesh bags.......

Are you talking about the Gerber teething biscuits maybe? They are little "hard" cookies.

I don't know of any recipes, but I do know Gerber had teething biscuits (like cookies) that you can use when your baby is teething. And really it's not odd for a 4 month to teeth. If you use those cookies, just watch them to make sure they don't stuff the whole thing in their mouth and choke, although those cookies are BIG, but they can break after gnawing on them and that is when pieces can get logged in their throat. There is advice out there about those mesh bags, too, making them not-so-safe. I believe it was in our child CPR class that were told of the choking hazards of them, sometimes kids can gnaw a whole in the bag (not sure how, lol) and choke on whatever you put in there. So IMO cookies or mesh bags can be used, just watch the child when giving those things (watch them closely). -------------------- ~*Karen*~

I used frozed wash cloths, teething tablets and a teething ring and if we need it tylenol.. now that Autumn is bigger I give her gerber biter biscuits (we started around 7months maybe a little before). I'm a little weary about the mesh bags especially for a 4month old maybe for an older baby
