are the test for it really that expensive? DH went back to the doc due to his cough he gets after a cold/flu/allergie/sinus and the doc says (okay I just dont believe his doc) there has been an outbreak of whooping cough, and is treating him for it, the doc said the test was $600. So he oped out of it.

I don't know about the test but the flu/upper respiratory thing going around here has a horrible, barking cough with it. It sounds just like croup, but it's not. It lasts for weeks~poor kids!
Hope you DH feels better soon. -------------------- Cheryl, Olivia's mom
