I used to have funnels...though, thinking back, I seriously don't know why I had them.

I didn't use a funnel because I don't have one big enough, I used a measuring cup, the glass kind with the little spout. Worked perfect as I don't like them thin and crispy, I like them soft and chewy so that requires larger spirals of dough....

Do you guys think this is the same dough they use to make the deep fried snickers? We didn't get to go to the fair this year.

IDK. Never even seen one. So, is just a mini, battered and fried? how do they get the batter to stick to the chocolate? Great |

Can also use Twinkies instead of Snickers and use same directions. SERVES 1 (change servings and units) Change to: Servings US Metric Close * * 1 * 2 * 3 * 4 * 5 clear stars Write a Review! (optional) Submit Cancel Ingredients * Snickers candy bars * funnel cake mix * frying oil Directions 1. 1 Push popcicle sticks into Snickers bar from the bottom about half way up. 2. 2 Freeze Snickers until frozen solid. 3. 3 For the funnel cake batter, you can either buy the mix at the store or make your own batter (there are several one's on recipezaar). 4. 4 Dip frozen Snickers into the batter. 5. 5 Fry in hot oil until golden brown (just a few minutes). 6. 6 Remove from oil and drain. 7. 7 Top with powdered sugar or caramel sauce if desired. |
