I went to the movies recently to see Eagle Eye which was a good movie. I noticed once it was show time, they went straight to showing movie trailers instead of a bunch of advertisements. I was shocked. I remember I use to sit through atleast 15 mins of commercials then they would show movie trailers. Has anyone else noticed this or is your theater still playing a ton of commericals at showtime?

I personally wish they'd skip all of it.... I mean, I speak only for myself, but I get kind of sick of going to one movie and seeing a good 80% of five others (that haven't even been released yet) -- pretty nearly figuring out their entire plots, endings and seeing every funny moment of those movies in the PREVIEWS -- before the movie I actually CAME to see even begins.

It's annoying dry.gif

Nough said.

We went and saw HSM3 the other day and they had stuff playing as you walked in but once it was showtime they showed one preview and then on to the movie...

We usually go to a matinee so they aren't super crowded and we don't have to get there early. The last couple of movies that I've gone to had a few previews and then the movie started. (But, not sure what went on before I got there).
