Calm and Tranquil! Group: Moderators Posts: 9,565 Member No.: 189 Joined: 23-May 03	I had a CT scan last week and my doctor had the results today when I went to see him. I have some deteriation in the disks of my back and some narrowing of something, that the nerves go through, but I can't remember what he said. My doctor said that would cause the the pain and numbness in my leg. He said for now I don't need surgery and physio therapy will help. He also said to take Advil during flare-ups. My back on the left side is still sore and gets worse depending on how busy things are at work. I'm still icing it, doing strengthening exercises and I start Physio on September 23. My back isn't as bad as it was, thank god and I will be happy when I finally feel more relief. --------------------
