 The referal to the gynaecologist was dropped off by me on Wednesday July 9! It's now a month later and I called to see when my appointment was. They hadn't scheduled one, hence why I didin't recieve a letter in the mail! So I made an appointment over the phone and my appointment has been scheduled for Wedensday October 29! I am furious! I wonder if the receptionist been there when I dropped the referal off, would I have gotten in any sooner? I can't believe I have to wait 2 months to see a gynaecologist! It's a good thing I'm not pregnant! This is absolutey riddiculas! --------------------  |

Hugs, that just plain sucks. Maybe call them back and asked to be notified if they have a cancellation. You may get lucky and get in sooner.

Are you having some issue that you would want to be seen sooner for? I would call back and mention it, otherwise, if its just for a routine check I wouldn't worry to much about it. my OB schedules his routine stuff that far out all the time, however both times I had my PPT they got me in the next week.

I certainly wouldn't be willing to sit by for that long if I were having problems.... I'd find another dr. if he couldn't see you sooner than that. That's just ridiculous.

I wouldnt sit and wait either for that Dr maybe another Dr?Or is it the health care system there?
