AF Question

I don't understand what is going on with me. Last month AF was 3 days early, I got it on the 18. Now it's starting again 5 days early (or if you calculate from 2 months ago 8 days early). I'm tired, moody and my breasts are sore. I would talk to my doctor but he is on holidays until September. I don't know what to do. This is not normal for me! My stomach is so sore and I'm passing small clots (sorry TMI), this is usual, but they are bigger than normal, but still nothing really to be concerned about. I just want to crawl back into bed and cry!

Well I hope you feel better and clots are not normal so I hope your Dr can see you as soon as he gets back from his overly long vacation

Is there not another dr. in his practice that could see you? If you're doing things that are not normal for you I'd certainly want to be seen soon.

Actually clots are okay if you've been laying down alot. The blood pools when you lay down and then begins to clot. You might notice that they are bigger, heavier in the morning or if you've been sitting for a long time. My dr told me that as long as they are not bigger than the size of your palm that they are okay.

I'm sorry you don't feel good, I would call another dr and see if you can't get something figured out you may need to get on bc to straighten your cycles out.

Exactally what my Dr said, too. I've always had them.

Thanks everyone! I am waiting for a referal to an gynaecologist. My doctor made the referal at my last appointment with him in July to discuss birth control because of the different psychiatric mediactions I'm on, my family doctor didn't want to take a chance and prescribe something that would interact with them. I'm going to call tomorrow and see if an appointment has been scheduled yet.
