Update on All my Tests, Sorry TMI

Calm and Tranquil! Group: Moderators Posts: 9,565 Member No.: 189 Joined: 23-May 03	Well there's good news and bad news. All of my blood work and lab tests came back fine. The Barium Enima and Abdominal Ultra Sound showed that I have pockets on my bowel called polyps, they are small and right now nothing to be greatly concerned about. But my doctor has referred me to a specialist just to be on the safe side. So I will have to continue with the massively painful stomach cramps and everything else. In Thunder Bay, you don't see doctors in a timely manner. So we could be talking a month or 8 months. He also refered me to a different dermatologist, the last one I was seeing was an A$$. I have a wart on my finger, I've had it for 2 years now and it's driving me crazy. It's right on the side of my index finger and goes right down into the cuticle. I had chest x-rays done today, because I'm still sick. I don't know if I told all of you about this cold that turned into Pnemonia. Well it's still lingering, this will be my fourth anti-biotic. My doctor told me to wait 3-4 days and if I still feel this way to fill the prescription. Everyone I've talked to has told me that's it's just stress and once my life stabalizes I will be okay. But I don't know there is something going around. So that's me, the Hypochondriac ! But seriously I just want to be well. And I'm very thankful that they didn't find anything seriously wrong with me. Being there for someone else that has a terminal illness is different than dealing with one yourself and honestly I don't think I could have handled it! --------------------

How is Spencer these days?

Spencer is doing great! Getting some colour back and the teachers are commenting that he doesn't have that gaunt look with sucken eyes. His counts are were they are supposed to be and maybe before Christmas we'll be heading to Toronto to have his Central Line removed. I guess I should post an update!
