I know it's not winter yet, but I really feel like the winter blues are settling in early this year for me. It started when the weather got colder and gloomier looking outside. Then we had a few really warm days and today is warm but really dark and gloomy out. It's really bumming me out and I get the winter blues so bad that it stinks to have it starting already. bawling.gif

I actually "wake up" at this time. It's different down here in the tropics. We look forward to this time of year so that we can actually go outside! Granted, it's still in the upper 80s, but that's a MAJOR improvement for us. wink.gif

Hmm, so what do you mean? What's the weather like there the rest of the year that makes this time your "wake-up" time?

ETA: Oh wait do you mean it's finally not 100 degrees and so it's more enjoyable to be outside now? Ah I can see that - see we are starting to have to be indoors more now - sucks!

Exactly. We don't go outside in the summer, just like you guys don't go outside in the winter. It gets really depressing.

I hate to tell you this Jen - but the December baby after the June baby really stinks - Olivia is June, Dylan is December - Olivia - no PPD, Dylan - PPD, Olivia - fun bday parties outside - who cares how many you invite, Dylan - stressing big time on what to do for his 1st bday - too close to XMas, too much money so close to XMas, you name it - love my boy dearly but his Daddy could have done a better job with his sperm placement (sorry if that TMI for this forum but it really is all HIS fault laugh.gif )

I get the winter blues, but it hasn't set in yet... probably because we are having such nice weather here. It feels more like summer than it does fall. I heard there were some cold days when we were on vacation, but it we had record-breaking high temps where we were so I guess the warm weather is following us.

Same as Amy, I'm so much more alive in the winter. It gives me so much energy. Unless we have several gloomy days in a row. But most of the time the sun is shining here in the winter and it's beautiful out.

The past couple of days were pretty gloomy/rainy and I started feeling yucky. I really can't imagine having it all the time.

We haven't had too cold of weather yet, but it's starting to come in, you can feel the crispness in the air today. It's a bit nippy. I get the winter blues bad sleep.gif I hate the wintertime, I'd much rather be outdoors in the sunlight enjoying the rays. Our summers can get relaly hot but our springs and falls are sooo nice.
