1 qt Fresh Strawberries (about 2 cups crushed)
4 cups sugar 2 tablespoons lemon juice 1/2 bottle liquid pectin (Certo) Crush berries thoroughly. Place in a large bowl. Add sugar, mix well & let stand. Mix lemon juice & add Certo. Stir until all sugar crystals are dissolved. Ladle quickly into jars or plastic containers & leave to set, it may take 24 hours. Store in freezer. Will keep in the fridge for 3 weeks. When placing in containers, make sure the size is equivalent to what your family would eat in about three weeks. Since there is no cooking involved, tastes a LOT like fresh strawberries. Gotta go get some this weekend before they are all gone! -------------------- Beverly, DH Eje, and mom to PJ, 20 Leah, 18 Sara, 16 Anders, 5

That sounds great. My husband loves strawberries-maybe I'll surprise him...
