Cheese Ball
This is a wonderful cheese ball. It is very easy to make and simply delicious. Prep Time: approx. 15 Minutes. Ready in: approx. 2 Hours 15 Minutes. Makes 1 large cheese ball (32 servings). -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened 3 1/2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese 1 (1 ounce) package Ranch-style dressing mix 2 cups chopped pecans 4 pecan halves Directions 1 In a large bowl, mix together cream cheese, Cheddar cheese, and dressing mix. Form into one large ball or two smaller balls. Roll in chopped pecans to coat surface. Decorate the top with pecan halves. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight. I don't use the nuts because my 5 yr old has a nut allergy and we all love this cheese ball and so does everyone whose had it... HOW'S THAT FOR EASY!!! Shelly -------------------- |
