Owen went to his 15 mth well baby check today and I had thought everything was fine. She told me he hasn't gained any weight since his 12 mth but he has gained height.
 He's 21 lbs and 31 inches. He also got his MMR and HepA vaccine today. We opted out of giving him the varcilla (chicken pox) because my DH is leary of such a new vaccine. Its only 10 years old. Well about 20 minutes ago the director of the clinic called to let me know the nurse had grabbed the wrong vaccine. He received the MMR with the varcilla.  I am so frustrated right now.  I don't really think anything can be done because it is already in him and I can't just undo it. My DH is going to be home from work in an hour and I know when I tell him he is going to hit the roof!! He was the one who said absoultely NO! exactly I agree then you wont have to get an earful thank God it was just the MMR with the Varcilla and it wasnt something else  -------------------- Wife to Ed (Redchief)

Yeah, I knew when she called it was something. I'm glad it's just this, but still when you specifically request not to have something, it feels like a slap in the face when they do it anyways (accident or not). -------------------- Beth, proud Army wife to Curtis, supermommy to Owen!

OMG, I would be so mad! Mistakes happen, but sounds like you clearly declined. They should have double-checked. And re-re-checked. I'm so sorry that happened.

 Oh my - I make them show me the bottle they take it from cause I have a thing about KNOWING that there is no mercury being used as a perservative in the vaccine - my Ped thinks I am  but now he just does it - automatically shows me the bottle and then we go on our way - I don't have an issue with the vacs themselves but the mercury thing freaks me out - there aren't supposed to be vacs that use mercury as a perservative anymore but - I also won't let them do the MMR together on Dylan - --------------------   |
