I didn't have a reaction to the anesthesia like I thought I would, but I did have a very bad reaction to the latex. rolleyes.gif Not fun! dry.gif

Anyways, they said if I had an ulcer it was a small one because the high dosage of prilosec they had me on would have taken care of it by the time i had the scope done. BUT I have a very red and inflamed stomach which concerned the doc. So I'm on a bland diet, no NAISD's (motrin, etc) and no alcohol for 6 weeks. That stinks because I have this wedding in CT coming up in a few weeks sad.gif . No fun. Anyways, they also took a biopsy of my stomach and my esophagus because he thought he saw signs of reflux. dunno.gif So I have to wait two weeks to find out the results of that.

As far as any connection of a bacteria and Kylie having it we'll have to wait to see abou my biopsies and go from there. She is feeling better on the Zantac.

Yuck, no fun. I can't believe they didn't go latex free. Most places have. I have a latex allergy, no fun at all! Sorry about that, but glad you're feeling okay now. Hope results come back for you and I still say ask about a blood test for Kylie before you let them scope her. MUCH less traumatic.

Yeah, they asked me if I was allergic to latex and I said no, but Ryan reminded me that I had a reaction when I was in the hospital with Megan too. I had forgot. blush.gif I won't ever forget again, that's for sure. sad.gif

I will have them do the blood test on Kylie before the scope for sure.

Thanks.
