I really like this outfit, but I wonder first off - Is it me? and second Am I too short to pull this off? and third Am I too chunky down below to pull this off? bigthink.gif

The model is older but I wonder if this is more early 20's type of wear? What is your opinions on this? Honest opinions only.

I love tunics---and they are ageless. Extra tummy wouldn't be a problem---the belt would help counteract that effect. The only problem would be if you are short---I am short, and tunics look silly on me. Long legs would help!

Yeah I short. sad.gif growl.gif That's what I'm afraid of is being so short that it wouldn't look good on me.

It's a really cute outfit. I love the 80's look. I'm glad they are bringing some of that back. cool.gif

But, that's a hard look to pull off. Honestly, I don't think it's a great choice for pears. I think anything that falls below the waist accentuates the hip area. Especially if you have a short torso and short legs.

I have a shirt almost exactly like that and TBH I always end up changing it....even with my skinniest pants I hate the way the shirt poufs below the belt, it's not a flattering pouf it's more like a what are you trying to hide pouf:o But if it's just that shirt and I could find one that had a more graceful pouf I think I'd love it!

Do you mind if I chime in? I don't like that outfit because I've seen them IRL.
Two things pop out. If you are short, you're going to look like you have no legs. Also, this screams 80's! I'm just guessing about your age, but my feeling is if you could have worn the trend in HS, then don't wear it again when it comes back around wink.gif
Again, just my opinion. Hope I didn't overstep any boundries.

I have to agree that the style probablyl isn't very flattering. I always get those poofs when I wear something like that. There are probably only a handful of people... most likely the models... that could pull it off. But, hey, I saw a picture of you the other day and you are looking hot... skinny minnie!

Thanks ladies. I do have a few "poof" tops similar to this, well sorta like this I guess and some days I like them on me and some days I don't. happy.gif rolleyes.gif I am very pear shaped though so it probably wouldn't be the right outfit. Thanks for all your opinions and kind comments. smile.gif
