28.8 pounds!!!

I've lost nearly half my goal. And I've averaged exactly 2 pounds a week since I started this odyssey. I am feeling better and looking better and I'm happy! At least mostly (nother story). I was even bad this weekend and had 3 margaritas. Not at the same time, one Thursday, one Saturday and one Sunday, but still, I haven't had any drinks since January. Go me! Maybe it was dehydration. LOL.

Wow, I've fallen off the journal wagon. I'm still kind of on a plateau and I unfortunately put back on 1.4 pounds while I was visiting my friend in SLC last weekend. I'm going on a sort of purification plan for the next two days. Hopefully, that will kick my metabolism into shedding pounds again. I'd hate to get stuck now. Anyway, my eating habits have kind of sucked this week. I'll have to be much more on the ball soon. Barbecue season has begun in Idaho. LOL.

OMG, I am so bad at this. I've had the worst luck with weight loss lately. I can't seem to get out of the 180s. And it's making me batty. I have to go weigh in later this morning, not looking forward to it. I can't seem to get back in the healthy eating habit. Man, I need some serious motivation. Maybe I need to go look at swimsuits. *shudder*

hug.gif Hang in there, it seems we all may have strayed a little, I had to go get new swim suits because the others we falling off of me and the boys were begging me to get in the pool that we put up last weekend. So now I have no excuses. I just have to get rid of the ones that are too big now. You can do it, look at all the progress you have already made. cheerleader.gif I know you can do it.

You've hit a plateau. hug.gif Gather up the things that motivate you and surround yourself with them.

You can do it Kelly! You've come so far. cheerleader.gif

Dangit! Back up again. I am so tired of the 180s. I promised my counselor I'd do the plan exactly for 1 more week. Get in all my food groups, write EVERYTHING down. I added in 20-30 minutes of toning exercises, stretches and crunches. I'm taking the stairs up and down in the parking garage (4 flights) and I'm walking as much as time allows while I'm working. If at the end of 7 days, I haven't broken my plateau, we are going to change my plan a bit. Bout time, I say.

Hang in there Kelly it could just be your body adapting to the added activity, I was fighting with the same 5 pounds this last month or so and have finally started to lose again and I really didn't change anything in my plan. You can do this. hug.gif

Ok, I am thoroughly ticked off. Everytime I go in and say, something's gotta change, I get new advice, then the next time, someone says, well let's try this. Everyone in there has a different idea of how to break this plateau and none of them are talking to each other. Yesterday I was so fed up I ate eggs and bacon for breakfast and chicken strips and tater tots for lunch. Apparently my body isn't accustomed to that anymore, because my stomach hated me last night. Eating just isn't fun anymore. dry.gif

Hang in there Kelly, hug.gif sorry you are getting such confusing advice. I unfortunately don't have any advice for you as I am following a different program. hug.gif

Thanks for the hugs, Terri. I surely needed them. With all the stress of this trial and working and everything else, I guess I was overdue for a major cheat day. Hope today's better.

Okay, I finally got someone to listen to me. We changed my plan, dropped a carb serving and half of a protein. I dropped 0.6 pounds the first 2 days on the new plan.
Funny thing, though. Last weekend I was in Rock Springs (my hometown) with my dad and my grammy. I ate like absolute crap, I had dessert several times. Yet, when I went to weigh in I only gained 0.4 pounds. I can eat perfectly for 3 days and put on 2 pounds, then I eat awfully and only gain a little. I don't understand my body.

I knwo what you mean its terribly frustrating, when you think your doing great the scale is not so great and when you dont do as well the scale seems to be a bit nicer. weird. I hope the new plan is just what you need.

Okay, so I weighed after work on Monday and was up to 182. I followed my plan letter perfect the rest of the week and this morning I was at 177. So, I am calling Monday a fluke thing, after 11 hours on my feet, tired, cranky, etc. And counting the new plan a success. This is my lowest since before I had Logan. I started that pregnancy at 179. Woo Hoo!!!
