Down another pound, and I'm out of the 190's!!! My goal is to drop two pounds by the end of next week. Fairly small, but I think meet-able. And if I beat it, I'll feel even better.
Breakfast -- yogurt, cereal bar, 1 egg
Lunch -- fresh salsa (I made it) tortilla chips (just baked slices of tortilla) and a small taquito
Snack -- apple (Logan helped with that)
Dinner -- I'm making chicken tacos. I love those things.

Yesterday was rough with Logan being so sick. My eating habits flew out the window and I just grabbed whatever was close when I had a chance. But better today.
Breakfast -- grapes, 1/2 banana, yogurt
Lunch -- turkey sandwich and baby carrots.
Snack -- slimfast bar

Thanks, everyone. This board has been so quiet lately, I thought you'd all disappeared on me. And I can really use the support. My sister bailed on me. She isn't going to follow program anymore and is considering the lap band surgery. I don't consider it cheating, but I do think her thinking about it has made it easier for her to "quit" doing things the hard way. I miss her support. bawling.gif

Most of this doesn't really belong in weight loss and dieting, but here is where it ended up.

Okay, I'm back. It was a really long hard week at work and made more so by the fact that I had put on 3 pounds last week. Very disappointing. But I got it off and I'm heading in the right direction again. I don't know how active I'll be around the boards for a while. I'm having some serious stressors happening here IRL and I'm not dealing with them too well. growl.gif Work made me say the "f" word the other day. I haven't used that word in over a year. blush.gif I've got an appointment to see my doc in a few weeks. Maybe she can get me sorted out. But perhaps most importantly, I am starting to do things for me. Aaron isn't really too happy about it, but I'm not really too happy with him. You just don't ignore the fact that the person you supposedly love has lost almost 25 pounds. sleep.gif And you don't come home from work and go straight to the gym every day. At least not without your spouse getting sick of it. Aaron hasn't made it home before 8pm any night this week. Then he completely ruins bed time routine and makes it impossible for me to get Logan down before 9:30. He's in court most of this week, observing a trial that has relevance to a trial he has in a few weeks. I understand that, but I don't think it's necessary for him to be there through the whole thing. He's even going to be going to the Saturday session rather than spend one of his 2 days off with Logan and I. He certainly could be home if he wanted to be. I had to get a baby sitter tonight so I could go to the Blues Traveler concert because he refused to be home by 6:45. It is so darn frustrating I could scream. I think this weekend we are going to be having a really big talk. I want him to move out. Then I am going to find a lawyer here in town who wouldn't mind representing the wife of a fellow attorney. dry.gif I have realized that I deserve better. I may not find another man, but I can be happy. unsure.gif It's time I tried it.

hug.gif sorry sorry Aaron is being a pain, you deffianlty deserve better. I hope once he does move out he will finally see whats he will lose or has lost. What a selfish pain in the arse he is.

COme on back and lose weight with me...I want to call you a BIG loser, heck your already one for losing nearly 25lbs, congrats, let make it bigger. thumb.gif

Okey dokey. I'm back on track. I've lost over 4 pounds this week. A total of 26.6 pounds. I'm feeling great and I've made an appointment to have my hair colored in 4 weeks. I'm getting back some of my funkiness. I used to be famous for it in my family. LOL. I'm going with blonde highlights and some deep maroon-red streaks for pizazz! I'm excited. Thanks for reading my journal, guys.
Breakfast - yogurt, apple
Lunch - 1 slice of pizza (lunch meeting at work)
Snack - grapes and baby carrots

Last night was Blues Traveler. They rocked out loud! It was great. My friends and I walked from their house to a bar and had a few beers then walked to the dome. Probably a bit over 2 miles (counteracts the beer, right?) then stood for 3 hours and danced on the floor 3 rows from the stage. Sweet! Surprised I can still hear and talk, but it was so fun to be me again.

Okay, here's my Saturday menu so far.

Breakfast - yogurt, grapes, 1 hard boiled egg
Lunch - ham and green pepper quiche yummy.gif a scone and some Waldorf salad. It was brunch at a friend's house and it was wonderful to sit and gab with some women from church. I do not feel a bit guilty.

Took Logan to the park for about an hour and chased him all over. Met my friend Chris there and her dog Baxter. Logan loved Bax and cried when we left. "My puppy, my puppy!" bawling.gif Kills me that he's allergic. I'd get him a golden retriever in a heartbeat. But when he got kisses, his cheek broke out. Not immediately and it took a few kisses, but still. sleep.gif I sure hope he grows out of this. I want a dog too.

I hope he grows out of it too! My brother was allergic to cats when he was little but now he's not. I think sometimes allergies can change.

Alrighty then. I've not lost any more, but I've not gained either. I'm being really good today, though. It's hard sometimes, I've lost motivation. But I did have my measurements done again on Friday and I've lost a total of 24 inches! ohmy.gif That's nearly an inch a pound. I'm on track with weight loss averaging 2 pounds a week. Even those few weeks when I crept up, the average is still good. So that's it for me.
Breakfast -- yogurt, cereal bar, 1 egg
Lunch -- 3oz chicken, salad, roll, strawberries and bananas
Snack -- Slimfast bar, the rest of the strawberry/banana goodness
Dinner -- I haven't thought it out yet, but I'm starting. It's just 5:30 here.

I am having the worst week, I've put on 2 pounds. And I can't figure out why. I've done nothing different. Everything that's been working isn't working anymore. This is National Medical Laboratory Week, vendors have been bringing in cakes and brownies and cookies and donuts and I haven't had a single bite of any of it. Today was horrific and then I went to weigh in and I've put on 0.2 pounds since Friday. Before that, I'd put on 1.8. Why??!?? I am so frustrated I just want to cry. Seriously, I'm sitting here with tears just waiting to flow. bawling.gif Aaron's a complete butt, Logan's driving me up a wall, my employer is talking about selling the hospital (job uncertainty), my mom wants to come for a visit (I'd love to have her, but Aaron says he's too busy to have company come for the next 6-8 weeks). I seriously need a hug and there's no one to give me one. Except Logan and he's too busy.
Sorry this turned into a bi#*$ session.

Kelly I'm so sorry. Are you about to have a visit from AF? I always weigh more then and am bloated

You are doing so well. And I'm sure people are starting to notice a huge difference already. Hang in there. I wish I were there to give you a hug IRL. I know how frustrating it is, but I"m here to tell you that you can do it!! You can break thru this plateau and lose the rest of the weight.

Are you exercising at all? If not, you may want to add some cardio exercise to your day. 30 mins minimum

Fitting in 30 minutes of cardio is next to impossible when I'm working. I sure don't want to get up 30 minutes earlier (that would be 4:30am) and by the time I've finished a 10 hour shift, I'm dead on my feet. I seriously sit down for a maximum of 1 hour during my shift, counting my half hour lunch break. And when I'm not working, I'm trying so hard to catch up with the housework and spend time with Logan that I don't even want to think about going to a gym. Logan's in daycare enough time already. It doesn't seem fair to put him in it more. I think AF might be coming in the next week or so, but man! I am just full of gripes today. One of my biggest is that Aaron has time to do whatever he wants to do and if I say anything, he makes me feel like a lousy person. I seriously need a change. Thanks for the hug, Aimee. I needed it.

hug.gif Hang in there Kelly. Don't give up. I know how hard it is to be a WOHM and try to fit workouts in. It's next to impossible. wacko.gif I've been doing them at home late at night most nights but these days I'm home less due to work and when I am home I just want to sit and veg. sleep.gif I recently joined a gym, two weeks ago, and I've yet to go. I can't even find the time to do that. I can't believe I'm paying monthly for it and can't go. I'm gone for work 2 days in the evening so if I try to go DH makes me feel guilty about being gone. wacko.gif Men! Ok sorry that turned into my rant blush.gif - just know you aren't alone. hug.gif hug.gif
