Yucky day here. Thomas and I both woke up congested (his nasal mine chest). We had friends over to play but he was so awful to them, not wanting anyone to play with his toys, that they went to my neighbors to play.

Breakfast:
2 scrambled eggs
bagel (I was only supposed to eat half as I thought Thomas would eat the other half and he didn't....turd!)

no snack

Lunch:
chicken sandwich w/pepper jack
gordettos
2 fist sticks (again, that Thomas didn't eat) blush.gif

Don't cha just love it when you plan food for little ones and they don't eat. I know it is hard but you may/should just either throw out the extra food or save it for later if he gets hungry. You may be sabotaging yourself with the little extra's you are eating because you don't want to waste it. Believe me, I have BTDT too many times to count. Hang in there and may you feel better soon. My Thomas has been acting just like yours lately, I think they may just be ready for summer too. hug.gif

Well, I know how you feel. It's no fun being sick with a whiney, sick and selfish toddler around. sleep.gif I'm afraid I don't have any friends left with the way he's been acting lately. And you know, it's times like these that make you want to dig into the freezer and find that hidden pint of rocky road ice cream and eat the entire thing by yourself in one sitting. BUT DON'T DO IT!! It will make you feel worse if you do. happy.gif Trust me. Stick with your plan and don't fret over the extra bagel or the 2 fish sticks. Just get right back on track and have a better plan for this afternoon. hug.gif

You're really doing great, Naomi! It's so hard and I'm really proud of you!! cheerleader.gif

Thank you all very much. Thomas was FINE once they left...guess he just wanted some mommy time without company. We both just took naps and I know that helped me and I'm sure him too.

Oh Aimee, thankfully there are NO hidden pints of ice cream in this house, nothing all that bad actually so I'm still doing ok food wise.

I'm about to go have my snack, an apple.

Dinner will be left over cabbage casserole.

Dinner last night was actually gumbo and it was so good and warm!

I'm going to WalMart today and hoping to find a dance DVD to start doing. It's either been too cold or raining lately and we have not gotten out of the house much so I need something. I think Thomas will have fun with that too! I'm meeting my mom on Sat. and she has some dvd's that she's letting me borrow to see if I like them too. And I have Yoga Booty Ballet (DH just thinks that's hilarious) on my list for Blockbuster but it's a VERY LONG wait!

Ok, I just read through all of my posts in here and man I have come a long way, at least I think so. That first week I couldn't count how many times I gave in to a temptation or made a bad decision and honestly I'm not doing that anymore, or not nearly as bad! I mean yeah I did have a couple fish sticks and an extra 1/2 bagel the other day but that's nothing compared to king cake and chocolate. I think the biggest thing is that we just don't have that kind of stuff in the house anymore. If it's not here I can't eat it!! Anyway I am proud of myself...I've seen lots of improvement!

Great idea. I never thought to rent a dvd at Rogers or whatever. If and when I get bored with my workout, I'll have to remember that. How long do you get to rent them for?

Gotta hate those toddler leftovers. I made Aaron eat Logan's chicken nuggets last night. I didn't want to get started on them. I agree, leave them for later, he may get hungry. You're doing great. Keep it up.

Well we subscribe to Blockbuster Online so I can keep it for however long I want, I just don't get another movie to replace it until I send it back.

So far today (Wednesday):
Breakfast:
oatmeal
coffee

Snack:
SF snack bar in Wal-Mart cause I forgot to snack before! rolleyes.gif

Lunch:
1/2 flat out bread, just couldn't finish it (don't like that anymore puke.gif ) sliced turkey, pepper jack, handful Triscuits

Snack:
100 cal mini bag of POPCORN w/White Cheddar....of course I had to jump on this bandwagon! All Wal-Mart had was the White Cheddar...it was good, but I want to try some others.

Dinner will be left over cabbage casserole

I don't know if I have a bug or if it was something I ate but my stomach has been torn up this afternoon. It seems to have settled down but it did not like something!

Thanks guys. I am feeling better, it was just that few hours yesterday...strange.

I had to take DH to the Dr. today, well I didn't have to go but did. He's such a man...he just finished his ER rotation and has been sick for 3 weeks but never so much as asked any of the Dr's for a prescription to clear up his sinus infection. Heck one of the residents is my best friends husband and he never even asked him....UGH! So we had to spend probably $70 to see a Dr today and then wanna know how much is antibiotic and other script was???? $109!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am so not happy with him right now! I told him earlier in the week to GET A SCRIPT FROM ONE OF THE DR'S! But NOOOOO, he "didn't feel that is was appropriate because I also had to ask them to fill out evaluations"! GRRR

Ok, done.

After the Dr's appt we had to exchange some of his pants at the mall and by then were starving so we each had a chicken sandwich from Chick-fil-A....grilled though, not fried!

Ok, gotta run, DH needs help putting together a play table for Thomas, be back tonight.

UGH, we just had Chinese! I had a small shrimp and broccoli and only a couple bites of Tim's fried rice. I feel it too, it's sitting heavy in my stomach right now. This is so out of character for us to eat out, let alone twice in one day! I took advantage though cause DH is anti-take out!!

I'm leaving to go home tomorrow for the night. Going to my dad's. He called last night to find out what we wanted for supper (I'm telling y'all food is a way of life in Louisiana) and I told him, I HAVE to have eaten by 8pm and it CANNOT be anything fried. I REALLY wanted boiled crawfish but it's still too early in the season and too expensive so he's making crawfish etoufee, it's a tomato based sauce with crawfish over rice. It'll do I suppose. He doesn't cook it as low fat as I do but at least he's not frying the crawfish.
Then Saturday my mom and I have a movie and lunch date. The best thing is that we are going to Zea's (I think it's a chain) and they have the BEST rotisserie chicken salad EVER!!!!!! YUMMO! I can't wait! I'll be home late Saturday afternoon.

I'll check in again in the morning!

Friday Weigh In.... up .4 lbs. I remembered the tenth of a pound from last time but my ticker doesn't reflect it because I hadn't used that...anyway, I did also loose .6% body fat. Which is what Phase One is about according to Bob Greene!

I kinda thought I would have a loss but I'm not going to fret over it. I made some bad decisions yesterday and did little to no activity this week being sick. I'll get my mom's DVD's tomorrow and we'll start Dancing the pounds away!!!!

Okay, I'm taking my weigh in back. You all can laugh at my expense all day. My first weigh in was first thing in the morning, out of bed, peed and on the scale. Well as I was sitting here Mother Nature decided to come knocking so I weighed myself again for my REAL Weigh In I LOST .2 lbs!!! wink.gif That's when I rather weigh anyway so I'm using that as my weigh in today!!!!!!

I updated my ticker with the tenth pounds from last week and this......Total loss....1.4 lbs!!! I can't believe I'm excited about that! Oh well, now I can have my coffee!!
