Thanks y'all wub.gif

I'm feeling like crud. AF showed up last night. sleep.gif All I want to do is sleep and I was up late last night at a friend's house. snooze.gif But, I did good last night! thumb.gif I didn't eat anything after 7:30 and they brought out some of those piorette things w/chocolate in them...didn't touch them! thumb.gif

I took strong this morning and followed it up with cardio. I got an okay workout today, but it went by so fast. I guess that is a good sign. happy.gif I just don't think I used enough weight. unsure.gif

I still haven't eaten lunch and it's almost 1:30. huh.gif Tonight we have that function to attend. It isn't a dinner or anything, but it's right at dinnertime so I need to figure out what to eat.

Okay, I'm going to finish cleaning! Everyone have a great weekend!! wavey.gif

I'm not able to post a lot today. I've got quite a bit going on. I lost yesterday b/c I was feeling so bad.

Anyway, I wanted to post here so I don't lose momentum. happy.gif

I had a GREAT weekend!! Saturday night Scotty and I went out. We had an event in Dallas. It wasn't anything exciting, but the company was good. I got to see some people I haven't seen in a long time. I had a glass of champagne and a really strong martini that I couldn't finish, but still felt pretty woozy. blush.gif I'm a lightweight. wink.gif

Then Scotty and I went to eat. I wasn't good, but I wasn't as bad as I could have been, either. laugh.gif I don't care though. I had the best time with my husband. I can't wait to go out with him again. wub.gif

Yesterday was okay. I just felt miserable all day (darn sinuses dry.gif) We went to the gym, but only walked a mile then we got in the hot tub and sauna.

Today I took the core class with a new instructor. She killed me, but I liked the challenge. I walked 2.5 miles after the class.

My eating is back on track after Sat night. and I plan on going to the gym everyday this week. tomorrow is cardio kickboxing.

Glad you had a great time with dh, that's just as important as everything else.
Good for you for getting something in even though you don't feel well Aimee. Hope you're feeling better soon. hug.gif

Thanks Marie happy.gif I'm feeling better this morning. I tend to feel worse in the evenings for some reason.

I'm not going to the gym this morning. My friend teaches tonight and I will go to her class instead. wink.gif

I need to drink more water. I'm starting to slide on that. Water is the only thing I drink other than my morning OJ and occassional glass of hot tea, but I have noticed I go too long without drinking anything.

Breakfast: toast w/ apple butter, OJ
Morning snack: almonds, apple
Lunch: turkey breast, broccoli, rice
Afternoon snack: yogurt, popcorn
Dinner: tilapia, rice w/corn and black beans
Drinks: water

AF was really light this month, which is totally unusual for me. ohmy.gif What I like about AF is that I'm never really hungry when she's here. And the week after she leaves I'm thinner than any other time in the month. laugh.gif I notice my pants fit a lot looser. Now if I could just get the rest of the month to be the same way I'd be okay. tongue.gif

Keep up the great work Aimee, I too tend to really want to indulge after she has left the house and once I shed all the extra water and bloat everything fits nicely. Just reading your posts has helped keep me focused tremendously. cheerleader.gif

Well today I skipped the gym so I could go to that interview. happy.gif Then I met Scotty for lunch, wub.gif and tried to go to the urgent care for this stupid sinus infection. dry.gif The wait was too long so I left. I've got to call another doctor in the morning to see if I can get in. I'm desperate now. sad.gif

I went to the gym last night. I did a little bit of cardio and then took strong. I really really really challenged myself last night and packed on the weight. I was shocked at how well my body reacted to the heavier weight. I spoke with my personal trainer afterwards b/c I was feeling a bit frustrated. And I think it's b/c I was seeing such huge results at first and now I've hit that plateau again. Although I'm doing everything right and seeing results, I'm still getting frustrated. She said "Do you just have to have something to complain about?" laugh.gif So, I've decided to continue with what I'm doing and not sabotage it from this point on like I did in the past. wink.gif This is truly the hardest part, getting over that plateau and feeling like your efforts are paying off. I hate being here. growl.gif I know it can't happen over night and it's only been a month, but I want it to happen over night. I want more than anything to know that in 2.5 months I will look and feel as great as I planned on looking and feeling. I don't know if that makes sense and I shouldn't put a time frame on something like this, but it's my goal. There are days when I feel great about myself and I feel healthier in general, but then there are days like today when my self esteem is in the gutter for no reason at all. My dress pants that I wore today literally slid off of me. I wore them on Saturday and they weren't that loose. ohmy.gif My jeans that are normally way too tight on me fit me perfectly today. And one of my best friends is already noticing a difference in how I look.

I'm sorry, I don't know what sparked this feeling in me. I'm usually not this way, but I'm not feeling well and daggonit if we didn't get more bad weather in here today. It's lovely seeing the snow fall even though it melts as soon as it hits. I'll be back at the gym tomorrow for strong. The only time I feel good is when I work out. It improves my entire day. Hopefully I can get a doctor's appt afterward.

Aimee you're doing GREAT. Like you said, and you know also, it's not the scale, but what's happening to your body, and yours is doing everything you want it to.
You're starting to build more muscle now, just remember, adding more weight, means adding more muscle.
Keep up the great work. hug.gif

Aimee, you are really are doing great! Look how much you are working out and your menus are awesome! You can't go wrong with that. I've learned the more I work out the slower I lose weight, obviously due to gaining more muscle. You'll get to your goal , I'm sure of it. wink.gif Just hang in there. Keep up the great work. cheerleader.gif cheerleader.gif

Thanks ya'll. hug.gif

I'm feeling SO MUCH better today. thumb.gif

I'm not really sure what my problem was last night, but I woke up feeling like a different person this morning. I'm kind of ashamed that I was so down yesterday and really didn't have a good reason for it. blush.gif

I was back at the gym this morning for strong and some cardio afterwards. I'm starting to see really great results, but more than that, my friends are seeing it, too. So I know it's not my imagination. happy.gif

I had a great workout today! AND I woke up with my sinus infection almost completely GONE!!! banana.gif I'm so glad I don't have to go to the doctor! wink.gif

My eating is fine, I imagine it will always be about the same. I can't ever imagine going back to eating the way I was. It's just not there...I have no desire or any particular craving. It's not that I'm depriving myself b/c I don't feel deprived...I just don't want it (junk food) at all. That and my portion sizes are about 1/4 of what they were. I'm not hungry most of the time and if I'm hungry I eat something sensible and healthy. My stomach must have shrunk. tongue.gif It's strange. I feel so content and healthy. That's why I didn't understand why I was down last night. I'm happier than I've ever been. I look better than I did a year or even 6 months ago. I just need to keep that in mind. I'm certainly not hurting anything by working out and eating healthy. wink.gif

On the upside, I got thru the bad day and I know now that I'm capable of doing that w/out sabotaging all my hard work. If I can just hold off, tomorrow always brings a different, most of the time better, mood. thumb.gif

Don't be ashamed Aimee. We ALL have days like that and they could be for no reason at all. Matter of fact most of my down days are for no good reason at all....I just like to tantrum every once in awhile. laugh.gif

Glad to hear you are feeling better today. thumb.gif Keep up the great work. smile.gif
