New year, new journal

Ruby Member Group: Moderators Posts: 13,589 Member No.: 89 Joined: 5-April 03	January 1st Brunch: 3 eggs, 2 slices of toast, some roasted potatoes, 3 breakfast sausages, a thin slice of cooked ham, 2 coffees We went out for breakfast. Lunch - none, still too full from breakfast! Dinner: a dinner roll, small portions of roast beef, mashed potatoes, green beans, baby carrots, a few tablespoons of gravy. Dessert: a slice of raisin pie, some strawberries, blackberries, some frozen vanilla yogurt Throughout the evening, I ate fresh cherries. And about 7 or 8 Turtles. I didn't start out the year the best way... and I'm not going to make excuses. It was darn tasty! I had smaller than normal portions of everything, and chewed slower though... My clothes fit me well, they're looser than usual so I know I've lost some weight... but my size 10/11's are still too tight to wear. I just went to weigh myself, and I'm at 185.8 (darn Holidays!! ) soabout 35 pounds to go, not too bad at all. -------------------- The richest people don't have the best of everything, they make the best of everything. I had Chili last night, with ground beef and the last of my friggin holiday TURKEY. I'm so sick of turkey, next Holiday season will be too soon to have it again. But I also had a coupld garlic and cheese scones with the turkey... Ah well. No stress! I think of my poor poor mother in law who lost about 80 pounds on the Dr. bernstein diet...and gained it ALLLLL back, and more! Muah ha ha! So she's back on it again. She's already lost like 12 pounds in 2 weeks. Next week, back to karate on Mondays and Wednesdays too (maybe Tuesdays and Thursdays instead, more adults and less kids...) and since my membership includes a full pass to the fitness centre, I might just stay a little longer for a sauna... -------------------- The richest people don't have the best of everything, they make the best of everything. I'm retaining water though. I feel bloated. But I'm sticking between 178 and 190.4...so I'm not changing my ticker just yet. Trying to drink water... but it makes me feel nautious. Everything makes me feel nautious, actually. And no, I'm not pregnant. Today, my stomach could only handle a little bit... i picked at my meals.... I'm not hungry at all. I'm just really thirsty, I've been drinnking almost non stop all day. On the positive side, I've lost a few pounds... I was 171.2 this morning.
