I know we haven't had a W/I in a few weeks, or at least I didn't see the posts. I've been busy and have forgotten.
Anyways, I just wanted to say keep your chin up through the holidays. -Don't loose your focus on the prize, weight loss. -Eat small portions and don't deny yourself the great tasting food, just eat less. -Remember that you still get leftovers later on (like for dinner, well at least I will, lol) so if you don't get enough at one meal you have the next. -Work out - tell yourself that you can have that small slice of pie as long as you workout to compensate. I'm sure there are more "tips" to help us survive the holidays. If anyone has any please post them here. I know I could use the help and motivation. Stay strong everyone!!!!! -------------------- ~*Karen*~

Great tips Karen, just wanted to add;
1) When drinking alcoholic drinks - drink 1 tasty drink and follow it with a glass of water 2) Aim to maintain over the holidays and don't stress about trying to actually lose weight at this time of year. Have a great holiday season everyone. |
