Well, My thrush is back, Ally is purple, and my nips are sore. I'm totally done. growl.gif Let the weaning begin. I have officially done everything I can do. She is 5 1/2 months old, and I give up. She prefers bottles anyway, I have no idea why I am fighting the whole process.
I hope that by now I am to annoyed with the whole thing to get depressed about it.

you did all you could have done
no sence in passing it back and forth
You did good and you stuck it out longer then I would have under those problems.

Tara you stuck it out way longer then I would have through all that. You did everything you could, at least you were able to give her the best choice for some time. Well done. hug.gif hug.gif

hug.gif I am proud of you for sticking with it for as long as you did. I personally never had to deal with thrush but form what all you hav said it sounds like a real PITA and I dont think I could have gone as long as I did with those problems either. Good job Tara.

This was apparently a good time to do it. We just finished our last dose of GV last night, and I am ovulating, so my supply is really low again. Its been about 18 hours since I last nursed and I'm not feeling in the least bit engorged. rolleyes.gif Good grief. I decided to just go cold turkey since she is bottling so well, and any BM she gets from me will just give her thrush again.
