I'm a waxer.
I started about 6 years ago when we lived here the last time. I went professionally every 5 weeks or so (it cost $10-$12 to do so). The last year or so though I do it myself. Just go out and buy a wax kit and it lasts forever. -------------------- |

I tweeze. I tried to wax once and the results were disastrous. I had half an eyebrow for a month.

I put tweeze but I do go for a wax every now and then to keep the shape and tweezing down to a min.

I would need to go once a week if I exclusively waxed. My hair grows back SO fast. I just tweeze, but I love when I am able to get them waxed. |

I'm a tweezer! I've never had much in the way of eyebrows as it is, but I keep them neat by just tweezing the strays about once a week.

I wax them myself, I love the Sally Hansen stuff ... you micro it and it hardens enough to rip it off by itself, no strips or nonsense. The Nad's works pretty well too.
Funny side note: Once I talked DH into letting me wax his unibrow... I didn't check the wax first and he was screaming that it was hot. I kept telling him not to be such a wimp, it's supposed to be hot! When I finally tore it off I took a chunk of skin with it and he had a perfect circle of skin missing. He had a rodeo that night and didn't want to fess up to waxing so he told everyone it was rugburn |

I have them waxed every 6-8 weeks and inbetween I tweeze, by the 5th week they are begging to be waxed though, I can usually keep them under control up until then!

I used to have them waxed all the time, then didn't have the money anymore to do it so now I tweeze. I'll probably have them waxed once every couple of months to 'clean up' what I don't do as good as a job at.

I have blonde eyelashes and brows so it's hard to tell but I get them waxed every now and then. In between I use the sideburn trimmer from DH's electric razor....works perfect!!!

OMG, at 40 I can't even SEE my eyebrows anymore! Well, not the strays anyway. And then putting on glasses kind of blocks them, so I still can't see them too well. I keep toying with the idea of going to a professional to take care of them but I'm afraid they will overdo it. I overdid it as a teenager and now the brows are really funky with some thin spots in them (didn't ever grow back). But the good side is since I can't see them, they don't bother me too much and I have no idea how it looks to others so again, not bothered! Just every once in a while I catch a glimpse through my glasses and think about them . . .

I can't afford to wax, and don't trust myself to do it! So, I tweeze.

I love the way they look when their waxed, but mostly I just tweeze. And I don't think I could wax my own. I would probably end up having to draw them back on.
