I started looking for grieving support groups around where we live today. I feel as though I need this help now. My husband & parents agree. Some days are better than others. Today is hard but I am still trying to make the best of the day. The thing that is going through my mind now is that I still feel like I am "expecting" and that the time is coming near for our due date. But then I remind myself that there is no baby and to just move on. I feel angry but am trying to control it with happy thoughts. I am doing everything I can today to keep happy while my husband's at work. I am going to have some tea now and relax a while. Tea time has always been comforting to me.

Thanks for the hugs. It really does help, even if no one knows what to say.

Is there something there called compassionate friends? I know there is some in the states just not sure which cities... They have one here and i went a few months after i lost Jordan and it helped a great deal and am thinking of going again. Its free and i found everyone there supportive. Everyone there had lost a child at a big rage of ages. some still born, m/c, infant loss, and even at tennage years and adult years. No one judges you or anything. they all know how you feel and its very supportive! Im trying to find it here in Edmonton but not doing a good job abotu it. They moved to a diff location and i can not seem to find them...

I have not heard about a group like that around here but thank you for mentioning it, Shelly. I will look and see if I can find it in our area. I hope you'll be able to find it again yourself. That is wonderful how it helped you so much. I did call my local Hospital and they have a support group that runs from 6-7p.m, every Tuesday night. Only, I would miss half of the session because my husband works until 6:30 at night and we only have one car. I am not sure what I am going to do yet. Hopefully, something will work out. Sending continued & prayers your way, Shelly.
