I have been trying to keep from thinking too much by cleaning, using the computer, watching T.V. & reading basically whatever good book I can get my hands on. A lot of times when my husband is at work (which is from 6a.m. to 6p.m.), I catch myself thinking about the first time I saw our baby dancing on the u/s. I then try to get that thought out of my head because if I think about it too much, it brings such sorrow to me. So, then I start thinking ahead to when we can ttc again and hope for the best. I am sure these are normal feelings after having 2 m/c but it's still very hard at times to cope with.

hug.gif hug.gif I know what you mean about trying not to think about it too much, I do that sometimes but I wonder if it's better to let yourself grieve. I don't know what the balance is between dwelling on it too much and becoming depressed, or stuffing it down and not dealing with it at all. dunno.gif I haven't found that balance yet. Planning the next baby is almost therapeutic though, it kind of brings a feeling of hope. hug.gif

I'm sorry you're having a hard time Jessi, here is a big (((HUG))) for you. hug.gif

Thank you, Sara. It's just that last night I got thinking about how next month would have been our baby shower. That really upset me. And also, I haven't mentioned this yet but my MIL has been fighting Pancreatic Cancer for 2 years now. Her Doctor just recently told her she only has 3-4 months to live. I just wonder how will we cope with that, along the loss of our baby. It's also the month my first baby would have been born & my gram's b-day (on the 17th) who passed away 2 years ago. All this is very emotional. I think it is better to let yourself grieve, Sara. Cause if you keep it all in then it will only get worse. hug.gif To you also. Prayers of comfort to you, Sara.

Thank you, Jen. 12 weeks along. I saw and heard the baby's hearbeat and saw the baby move for the first/last time. I miscarred, February 23. Just a few days before my husband's birthday. bawling.gif

Jessi everything you're feeling is normal, it takes time to be able to think of the baby without your heartbreaking in two. You're doing the best you can to deal with it, and there is nothing wrong with thinking about what might have been. Hope things get better for you when you get the go ahead ttc. hug.gif hug.gif

I am truly sorry for your loss and others that have been through it recently......................there isn't much one can say. I have been there but that doesn't help either
