for lunch?? Andrew has suddenly lost all interest in jarred food (after all my worrying about his problems with texture he seems to do doing fine now.
![]() Dinner isn't a problem because I just give him whatever we're eating. But I'm so terrible with lunches - for myself for lunch I either eat some peanut butter toast or leftovers. ![]() -------------------- |

I feel the same way sometimes. A lot of days I just cut up some sliced turkey and cheese and that's his lunch! He loves it but I feel bad giving it to him so often. What about left overs from the night before? How about mashed potatoes? I need to make more of that, it goes a long way and I put peas in it for a veggie.

I used the Progresso soup and drained the juice after cooking it, it had a lot more to it and the noodles, chicken, etc were super soft. We also did lots of super soft veggies that I could kind of mash but leave kind of piecy so they could pick them up, and rice with cheese and veggies in it too.

I don't know if you are opposed to getting pre-packaged meals but Gerber gradutates are pretty good. We get them just for luncha nd she doesn't have them that often. They come in spag., cheese and noodles, and raviloi's. Kayla loves them. Theya re really soft and mushy.

Oh- they also loved the Gerber meat sticks that look like Vienna sausages ... they come in chicken, beef, and maybe a combo? I cut them up but they're also super soft. Pinto beans too.

Avacado, cubed or shredded cheese, cooked pasta, canned diced carrots or peas or green beans. Grilled cheese tore up into little pieces(mine ate this a lot) peaches that are diced up. Ravoili cut up into littel pieces.

turkey, cheese, crackers, bread, fruit, tiny pasta,
Also---- I make mac and cheese for Jay, but since we don't eat it, I freeze it in little tuperware containers and then pull it out for dinner or lunch -------------------- ~*~*~*~Edie, Jason 9/23/02, and Emma 11/19/06~*~*~*~

Thanks! These are all great ideas. I need to make a grocery list.
![]() ![]() I'm working on getting him to feed himself too -- right now he mostly wants me to feed it to him, but last night we had pizza and he fed himself. This is such a weird in-between age. When they're really small all you have to do is give them a jar of something mashed, and when they're older you can give them a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and they're fine. ![]() -------------------- |
