How old was your son/daughter when they started walking? My son is 11 months and isnt walking yet. He is cruising holding on furniture and stuff, but no walking alone yet. I HAVE noticed that he feet point outwards. Do you think that this could be one of the reasons why he is not walking yet? Im going to ask his ped. about it. My mil said that my husband had the same problem when he was that age...and he didnt walk until he was close to 1 year old. She said that she put his shoes on the wrong feet...I dont want to do that...are there any other alternatives to doing that? My daughter walked when she was 10 months old. Her feet didnt do this. Thanks in advance.

Lorelei was 8 1/2 months old. She just got up and walked/fell across the room to the couch, and that was it....
Don't worry if your kid isn't walking yet. Most kids don't start until 12 months, and some even later. They all develop differently. This post has been edited by amomsjob on Feb 22 2006, 07:58 PM -------------------- Erika

Logan didn't walk until he was 15 months old. Our ped wasn't going to truly worry until he was 18 months.
