Thanks everyone, now I just need 1:15pm to get here so I can leave. Work is real slow so I really could have not come in today but with my PITA co-worker, who is pissed by the way that I am leaving early because I am sick, would have gone nutso if I didn't come in. She will be just awful tommorow but hey, tough luck. I earned the time off and she is sure lucky I don't take more time because my boss told me to. Okay gonna try and find something to do here at the office, I am not even thinking of food right now just trying to drink my water, I may have some chicken soup when I go home after the doc's. Okay it is official I have a sinus infection and am on bedrest and pennicillin. Lovely. So I am going to have some chicken soup, get my waterbottle and try and have a nap before the brats get home. I am in bed right now and left my meds in the other room - gotta go get it, okay just took the first one, had to run and grab my power cord as I was getting a low battery warning. Okay that is all for now will try and get back on later tonight. This is really gonna put a kink in my weekend, oh well as moms we just move on.

Ah Terri, I didn't see this til now. I'm so sorry. Sinus infections stink! I know that's what I had, but not a terrible one to keep me on bed rest. I hope you start feeling better real soon hun.

Hi everyone, we are back from the cottage. It was great, except for the sinus infection. I was in bed asleep by 7:30pm Friday night from sheer exhaustion. The cottage was just like being at home. We went for a nice hike in the woods with the boys and the gentleman that owns the place came by and picked up the boys on his ATV, they had a blast. We are all very tired right now, we played a ton of pool and just played with each other. We took the PS2 but the boys didn't know it and played together very nicely. I will try and post pics later once we get a little down time. The pennicillin kicked on Saturday and I was feeling much better. Still coughing up crap but feel much better. Will run now and try and check back in later, oh ya, as far as food and activity this week, I am calling it a write off with the infection and being away, I will take control now and move forward, we didn't have any veggies or fruits up there , too much to lug up and DH didn't want to buy it and have to take it back home. Oh well, will have more now.

I'm glad that you're feeling better. It sounds like you had a nice time at the cottage. I always blow off the diet when I'm not well. I pretty much eat what I want and then get back on track when I'm feeling better. Who wants to worry about all of that point counting when you don't feel good. Looking forward to the pics.

I slipped too. It's very easy to do and completely understandable. After all, how often do you have the chance to blow off a weekend with your family. Keep it up, hope you feel better.

Hi all, just popping in quickly to say yes I am still alive. I think the winter blahs are really hitting me hard this year. I have almost stopped posting completely both here and on the other sites I visit. I still haven't got the pictures off the digital camera yet, will maybe try and get them tonight or bug DH to do it. Had my WI last night and am down 1.4 kinda glad that all my working out the past 3 weeks was worth something - now I gotta pick it back up and refocus and start again. So this week I am aiming for 4 days, I will be happy with 3. I am leaving work in about 40 minutes because I promised Matthew I would try and be at his school skating trip and then I have a hair appt. to get my mop cut. Yes my bangs now reach my top lip, yuck. Anyway my PITA co-worker is not too happy right now as another co-worker who usually backs us up one one of us is away is not here today or tommorow. TFB, I usually get the short end of the stick now she can have it. Anyway she is royally t-d off. Gotta run before she decides to stnad over my shoulder and read my posts. Have a great day, will try and get back after my hair appointment and before swimming tonight.

Thanks guys, sorry didn't get back here yesterday, just plopped my big butt on the couch and vegged. Today is okay, gotta hit the grocery store tonight so I don't have to do it tommorow. Last week never really got a regular shopping done because we went away so that threw me off this week food wise because I didn't have the foods I needed, i.e. tuna, yogurt and some other staples that I depend on. I am slowly picking myself back up and am making an effort to get here more. Sorry to disappear and if I don't post back to your journal, please forgive me it is taking all my effort to just post here. I am reading daily just don't want to inflect my dumpy attitude on the rest of the boards. Take care and remember to yourself today.

Thank you one and all for the kind words and encouragement. I have managed to let yet another week slip by. I did get to the grocery store on Friday and stocked up, had a pretty decent weekend, didn't get any activity in and am in lurker mode around the boards again. Sunday night I managed to bend 3 of my fingers on my left and back pretty hard, pulling the muscles and tendons in it enough to hurt like the dickens, making using that hand real difficult and typing even harder. I am not really concerned this week with the scale, I am just trying to get through til Thursday and the start of a fresh new week. Okay gonna run and do some work here at work, LOL. My hand is starting to hurt again. Sorry to not be keeping up with all your journals and posts, will be back when I can type again without pain. Thanks again.

Hang in there Terri. Sounds like the lot of us are in some kind of slump or other whether it be with our workouts, our eating, or just our posting. It's all 3 for me.

Thanks Marie, my hand is much better still hurts but not so bad. Had WI on Wednesday and I am up but am cool with it. Started working out again, did my WATP dvd last night and it felt great to do it, will do it again tonight after grocery shopping. My mom is in Aruba right now, that is her port of call today as she is on a 19 day cruise with her boyfriend and her best friend. She called to say hello, I was kinda shocked to hear her voice. She sounded like she was having a good time. This weekend will be filled with activity, Matt has hockey at 9am, dentist for a filling at 11am and piano at 12pm then I booked him in at 2:15 for a hair cut. He really doesn't want one but needs it bad. I will try and get caught up on the journals over the weekend and post more to you all. I am slowly seeing the light at the end of this long dark tunnel. Gotta like it when you take your vitamins and the world looks good.

Okay another week has gone by and my spark is still not quite here. I am down this week and AF is in the house early. I have not given up on me or WW I am still following program just haven't had the umf needed to get here to post/journal. I will make more of an effort.

My mom called yesterday from Cozumel, Mexico and they are having a blast, they didn't get to Costa Rica because of labour dispute demonstrations and had to spend 2 days at sea making her boyfriend go stir crazy. Anyway, they dock tonight in Fort Lauderdale and fly home tommorow night. I am sure I will get a phone call tommorow and one on Saturday filling me in on their great trip.

Work is real slow right now, we are expecting a real nasty storm to blow through here in the next couple of hours and last til tommorow. I am leaving early to go to the dentist for a small filling due to my grinding my teeth and not wearing my night gaurd all the time.

Okay I am going to start by appologizing again for not being here but things just went from bad to worse last week. After posting here, and taking 3 hours to get home, misisng my dental appointment, Thomas got sick and I had to leave early on Friday to pick him up from the sitter to take him to the doctor to be told it was viral and to keep doing what I was doing. Just watch and make sure he didn't get worse. Then on Saturday morning my babysitter calls me at 8:30am, I thought that was kind strange, her father at a heart attack couple of weeks ago and was starting to fail so they called the family home to PEI. So off she went and I, who have no family here or backup sitter had to scramble to find one. Luckily there is a lady accross the street who was watching a little boy for a while and the boys mom had a baby so she doesn't have him anymore. She was able to watch the boys for Tuesday to Friday but I had to leave work on Monday to p/u Thomas from school and took the afternoon off. Boy was my PITA co-worker not very happy. She immediately went into our holiday schedule room and booked today off and didnt' say a word to me about it for the rest of the week. As I was leaving yesterday I said to her to have a good weekend, and on Monday I will not be asking her about her weekend. Thomas had a hard time at first but has adjusted. Now this is were the worse part comes in.

The sitter got home yesterday and has the flu, okay I can handle that, I know have Thomas's illness and my sinuses are killing me, gonna take some advil nighttime cold and sinus and go to bed soon, can handle that. I come home from work today and go over and see the sitter to see how she is and she tells me they have to move on May 1st. OMG If I am like this I don't know she is staying so strong, I took her grocery shopping tonight and it was all I could do to not ball my eyes out in the store.

My boys have never had any other sitter and they are like her children to here. I am sitting her crying as I type this (again I cried for over an hour tonight). She doesn't know where they are going to go, if she can still keep the kids so now I have asked the lady that had them this week if she can watch them permenantly starting May 1st if Velda moves to far away or out of the school boundaries. I am a complete and utter mess right now, my eyes are barely open and I just want to scream. I really wish we lived closer than an hour away from my family. I am just going to take it one day at a time, we will know this weekend if the new lady can watch them, she has to talk to her husband who is away right now and will call her tommorow.

On a happpier note, I managed to maintain my weight this week and have yet to turn to food for comfort. And DH complimented me on my hips getting smaller.

If you managed to get this far thank you for listening, I am going to go and pass out now hopefully the sun will shine tommorow and God will find a way for us to get through.

Oh Terri....I'm so sorry to hear about all of this. You have had a rough few weeks. I am so happy though that you are still doing well with your eating. I smiled when I read that you have not turned to food for comfort, that's wonderful! Keep doing what you are doing and things will get better, everything will fall into place, you'll see!
