Hi, just back in from WI and I am down 1.4 pounds this week. I was in shock because of all I ate this wee, this will make next week even tougher, I am going to lose this week even with a family Christmas on Saturday. I will be extra careful this week.

Good morning journal. I have made it through another week of insanity both at work and home. I can't wait for Christmas to be here and gone. Don't get me wrong I love spending time with my family on Christmas day it is just super stressful for me at both places. I guess I have it easy during certain times of the year at work but I sure to pay for it these last few weeks. I have been pretty good with my food intake but I am starting to slip a little, I had a few cookies last night and was really wanting junk because we didn't have a real dinner. I will try and get a grip tonight and have a real dinner planned. Gotta run and get ready for work and get the kids off to school. Will be back throughout the day to see how things are going. Take care. smile.gif

Yup another week gone by and I seem to have found the weight I lost last week so I am maintaining quite nicely through December. Okay, totally off topic here but I am sitting here almost close to bawling.gif tears, we got a bonus yesterday with our paycheques and nothing said to us. Well I went in to thank the boss and ask if we were having a "review" this year well he says no we are doing bonuses instead, I am like WTF. He said he was also pleased with all I have done this year and my work is great. Of course I didn't say this to him but I am sitting here growl.gif fuming. He says that maybe next year we will do raises instead of the bonus, but this is so not what we discussed last year. mad.gif We are having our Christmas dinner tommorow here at work and right now I don't even care if I stay for it. I was going to dress up tommorow, no way, no how now. I dont' want to be here, luckily I am off starting tommorow at 4pm when our Christmas dinner/party is and am not back til January 8th. I will be enjoying time with my family.

I am going to eat healthy this week and take care of me. I am going to also get more activity in and see if I can shed some of these pounds over the holidays. Gonna run and try and pull myself up out of this dark place I am in right now, fighting back the tears. bawling.gif

PS if you could maybe say a little prayer tommorow for our family, my sister is undergoing an hysterectomy tommorow morning. She is 36 and they had already decided they were done having kids (her DH had the big V 4 years ago) but she has a condition called Adenomyosis and this is the only treatment for it.

Have a great day and Happy Holidays if I don't get back here this week.

Well good by 2006 and hello to a new me in 2007. I will work this program till I am at goal and beyond. Today is another fresh new day, I WI tonight and haven't really been following program that much over the last 2 weeks. I am still off from work - at home with the boys just chilling til they go back to school on Monday then I am back at work on Monday too. I didn't stay to long at our Christmas dinner at work on the 22nd, in fact I didn't even eat anything as I was way to p'd off at y boss. I will go back on the 8th with a fresh new attitude and prove to him that he did make a mistake when he decided not to hand out raises and did bonuses instead.

I thought about starting a new journal but I think I am going to stick with this one because I like to read back and see how I was doing when when I did lose the weeks I lost weight. It will help motivate me during the hard weeks ahead.

Happy New Year to everyone, sorry to disappear again, will try and be more active in the near future, was just in a dark place again for a while.

Thanks Karen, I was up last night but it was only .6 so I am very happy with it. One of the men in my metting was up 4 pounds over the holidays (he missed last weeks meeting). I know he will lose it quickly. I am recommitted more now then before. I bought a 3 month journal at my meeting and just discovered that I am supposed to have an extra serving of milk a day because of my size, I am not going to complain because besides the extra calcium I have heard that milk and yorgurt help you to lose weight. Yummy. I have already had my breakfast today - shredded wheat cereal with blueberries and milk, my coffee with 1 cup milk. Lunch is pretty simple, tuna with salsa and ff dressing and dinner is chicken legs with something - maybe brown rice. I am also going to pop a bag of smart pop and leave it in a bowl on the counter for the times I need to grab something I can grab it instead of the chips and stuff we still have around the house from all the festivities of the holidays. I am also going to be doing some form of activity today not too sure what yet, yoga, gazelle, or another tape/dvd I have.

Okay enough of me now, going to run and finish my coffee and get dressed so I can start my day. I have already adjusted my ticker to reflect last nights gain, I seem to be stepping in the wrong direction but from now on I am going to be "Stepping in the right Direction for 2007." My new motto for this year, came up with it last night and am going to share it with my leader next week. Have a great day everyone and remember to drink your water.

Thanks Karen blush.gif .

So I know have 1 and half days back fully on program, did my yoga dvd yesterday and today I am going to try the new ones I just bough, Walk away the Pounds. It should be good. The boys are next door so I am just relaxing, I went out earlier and went looking for shoes for Matthew and came home iwth a couple of pairs of pants, shirts and the dvd's for me. Oh well I will take him out on the weekend. I am having a really quiet time here am glad I went out earlier or I would be at a loss for what to do with myself. Gonna run and finish my lunch, dinner is stew with couscous for me and hubby, not sure what thte boys will have. Can't wait to go shopping for groceries tonight as my fridge is getting pretty bare of the good stuff. Have a great day, will try and pop back in throughout the day.

Good afternoon, I had a great day yesterday. Did the workout video I bought and think I may have started 1 level to high, oh well will take it easy today and do the lower intensity one and step it back up tommorow and yoga on Monday. Had a good dinner yesterday of stew and even went to bed before the munchies hit. AF is in the house thankfully right on time and with then normally icky feelings. Oh well. I talked to my little sister last night, she is now 2 weeks post OP from the hysterectomy but she has a small infection in one of her incisions. Other than that she will be fine. Not much going on here today, the weather is pretty sucky, rain, rain and more rain with the temperature dropping by the minute. I had an early start today Matt had an 8am hockey game which they were blown out of the water. We have had lunch and are heading over to my BIL place to see what stuff he wants to give us, he is cleaning out his house to paint again so we get what he doesn't want anymore. This journal entry is all over the place. That is what this is for, dieting and random thoughts. Have a great day and will get back here later. For those who got through this, cyber chocolate martinis(up it is after 12pm noon here) and brownies for those who don't want alcohol yet. Talk to you later.

Good morning, we had another early hockey game and the boys won even missing their 3 best players. We are not doing too much today, DH has gone out for a while to see if future shop has another 32"tv like our new one so we can exchange the one we have, apparently our high definition connection isn't working and that is the whole reason we got the one we did. I am just finishing up a late breakfast and am going to start some laundry soon. I will also be doing the 2 mile WATP dvd I have as soon as I get my motivation up, and after I do some leg lifts and arm crunches. Gotta run now and go help Thomas with a video game he is having some trouble with before he throws a tantrum. Have a great day, will pop back in as the day goes on.

Remember to be good to yourself and drink your water.
Stepping in the right direction for 2007.

Thanks Karen and Aimee, blush.gif I have struggled a lot these past few months and I am finally starting to see the journey as a tuely one that I can continue with and will be on for the rest of my life. Luckily with WW bringing out the CORE program a couple of years ago there is now a program that fits with me and the way we live at my house. I don't fret anymore if I don't know the points and know that as long as I eat healthily I can still maintain or lose by making smarter choices. Don't get me wrong i still have my weak moments and want junk, like today I had some of the Cool Heat Chili doritos that are awesome. But I didn't eat the entire bag like I was doing over the holidays. Thanks again, you all are what keep me going even if I don't get here to post, just reading your posts helps.

Good afternoon, see this is what happens when I have to go back to work, I don't get here til after 12pm almost 1pm. I had a pretty good night but didn't get any real activity in as my left knee is know feeling the workout I did on Friday. Will try the 1 mile dvd tonight and take it easy. Work is crazy, we had one sales member quit while I was a away and other changes are happening too, hopefully they won't impact me too much but I think I will be helping the new salesperson a lot with inputting orders til they are up to speed, but I think it will be okay. Food wise I am still okay, had some doritos and oreos but had the points so it will be all good. I am on plan and feeling great. I also got a great compliment today, one of the regular caterers who phones in said I sounded great, I just told him that that is what 2 weeks away from work can do plus I told him I have a few other things in my life in order so I am a different person than when I left here back in December. I feel great today. Gotta run, going to have lunch real soon because I am starving. Have a great day and be good to yourself.

blush.gif Thanks Aimee, I only bring food in that I know I should eat and was really good before christmas when all the treats were coming in the office. I am only hoping that in the midst of this action that one of my co-workers who blasts her radio is moved to another area of the office then I don't have to deal with her. Who knows, I can only wish. Thanks again for the encouragement, you all rock here.
