Good morning, looks like another weekend has flown by. Matthew had another hockey game and they tied, thank goodness the teams are pretty evenly matched. No one deserve a blow out win or loss. Didn't do much else all weekend, been in a fog and realized that it is because I am not feeling well. DH woke up yesterday with the poops and chills and the weather is yuk. So we didn't do much yesterday. DH is still poopy bawling.gif and I am now fighting a head cold. bawling.gif Didn't journal all weekend either here or on paper, no activity either because of how we are feeling. Will chalk it up to a lost week.

Take care everyone, will try and get back here more.

Terri

Thanks Karen, sorry you are in the same boat as me. I am struggling to stay afloat right now. I am still feeling cruddy, if only DH didn't deem it necessary to wake me up everytime he gets up mad.gif growl.gif I may be able to kick this head cold to the curb faster. Anyway, at work I am doing okay it is once I get in the door at home that I lose my mind and forget that I am supposed to be trying to lose weight. WI is tommorow and I am not that positive and will take it all in stride. This is a journey and not just a destination. There are bound to be distractions and different paths. As long as I learn from them and concentrate on the here and now and not focus on how far I have to journey I believe that I will be okay.

hug.gif to you too, I sometimes feel that if I post about it, it will help it to go away faster. Otherwise I will wallow in it and drag it out. That is one of the things I am learning along my journey. Hope you are feeling better today.

Terri

cool.gif Good morning, well at least the sun is shining here in Toronto for a little while.

I am starting to feel better, this head cold is slowly going away. I have WI tonight and am worried that I will be up, I would almost put money down that I will be up. If I am - no biggie. I will move forward and make a fresh start tommorow morning. I started to slide back into my dark area this past week and really don't like how I feel from it. I am back to eating breakfast and packing lunches that are on program, I just gotta get my butt back into the swing of activity again and the extra between the sheets activity is not enough to lose weight. I am slowly pulling myself up and will be back to normal real soon. I am drinking all my water and getting my oils in which is a big help in my journey. Gotta run and do some work here. My life is going to be very busy through the winter months here is an example of our schedule:

Monday - Thomas swims 6:30pm
Tuesday - clear, relax at home
Wendesday - I go to my WW meeting
Thursday - Matthew has swimming at 7pm and piano (thankfully at our house) at 8:30pm
Friday - I usually grocery shop
Saturday - Matthew has hockey at either, 8am, 9am 1:15pm or 2:15pm
Plus all the other stuff you normally do on the weekend.
Sunday - Matthew has hockey practice at 8:15 am or on the lucky weekends (5 of them) he has a second game at 8:15am, then all the regular stuff going on

So if I seem stressed or disappear for a while that is where I am, work is also crazy busy during this time of year so I tend to withdraw into myself. I am making a concerted effort though to get here and post and ground myself daily.

If you got this blahblah.gif blahblah.gif far cyber 1 pt brownies to you all.

Good morning, welll I had WI last night and was greatly surprised. I was actually down by .6 again. I'll take it. Guess I was making more good choices than I thought or the 4 litres (16 glasses/8 ounces each) of water I am drinking each day is making a huge difference. I will keep on journalling, drinking my water and will get 4 days of activity in if its the last thing I do. I looked at last weeks journal and I stopped on Friday, I will not do this again. I will keep on plugging away.

Have a great day and remember to drink your water. smile.gif

PS Dh is still sick, it looks like it may be the flu. I do not want it so I am staying very far away(well as far as I can get) from him. rolling_smile.gif

Thanks Karen, DH hasn't even asked how I did last night and I really don't tell unless asked. Take care, I am here for you. hug.gif

ETA I have been trying new things food wise, today I had Pea Soup w/canadian bacon in it and it was awesome, don't know why I waited so long to try it. And it was real filling and CORE to boot.

I'm sorry your Dh didn't ask you how it went dry.gif . Mine isn't being very sensitive to my weight problems or my aunt for that matter. growl.gif He's asked me to go to my favorite lunch places TWICE this week after I asked him not too. growl.gif

I'm glad you found something you like to eat. thumb.gif

You know I'm not having a problem at all with what I'm eating. I'm doing actually exceptionally well with that and not hungry much, except for when I have to eat out. rolleyes.gif I do crave some of the places we usually eat and would like to have it where we could go one place once a week (like for dinner) but every time I do I pay for it on the scale and the weight I lost the week before comes right back on. dry.gif

Good morning, last night was a zoo at our house. Got home from work and DH suggests ording pizza,

I am like, "sure go ahead" - he gets all miffed, " like what ya mean?"
I am like "go ahead order it for you and the boys." tongue.gif So he does. Sometimes he doesn't think about what I should and shouldn't eat. (sound familiar???)

So dinner was pizza and wings, I had 1 slice of peperoni pizza and 1, yes 1 wing, then we jetted out the door for Matthew's swimming then home again for is piano at 8:30pm. I finally got to eat my meal at 9pm after his lesson was over. The instructor is his school teacher from last year and he was quite impressed with how much he had retained seeing as they stopped lessons in July for the summer and only started again last night. I also spoke to Matt's swim instructor and she is quite impressed with him. They did diving last night for the first time and he belly flopped but said it didn't hurt. Guess we gotta take him to family swim and get some practice in with him. Thomas was actually really good last night even though it was all about Matthew, he sat and watched his swimming and was in bed by the time piano started so all was good.

As for me, well I didn't get in any activity last night, Dh wanted some activity but by 10pm I was ready to hit the hay. Food wise was good, that chickpea soup really filled me up. Water is no problem these days while I am at work, I am drinking from a 7.5 cup pitcher and am getting in 2 of those a day, the real trick is the weekends getting it all in.

We have a busy weekend lined up, grocery shopping tonight, my mom is coming to visit to see Matthew's hockey game at 1:15pm and bringing my one nephew - having lunch with them then the boys have a birthday to go to at 2:30pm and I think I have to stay to referee them while they are there. My babysitter will be there too and she offered to watch them but I don't feel right doing that to her. The party is for one of the boys she watches and the party will be all boys ranging in ages from 4-11. Oh well, the joys of boys.

Sorry this got long again, cyber 1pt brownies (see recipe forum for them) to you all if you got this far.

Have a great day and do something good for you. YOU ARE WORTH IT.

Good morning, things are a bit better here today. Work is a little slower, not by much but at least I am not running around like a mad women. I have wiped the slate clean as far as food and activty goes this week. I am not even going to recap how bad my week was, I am again dreading tommorow night but I will go and face the music. Tonight being Halloween I should be okay with the candy, I really don't need another reason or any reason to eat junk so it is just like any other day in regards to the treats the kids will bring home. I have been good during the week but stopped journalling again on Friday night. Gotta work on that because the weekends that I journal even if I indulge I tend to lose. Okay work is calling my name, will be in better spirits as the week goes on (I hope).

Take care,

Terri smile.gif

GL tonight at WI. I'll try to get on tonight to see how you did. Now I'm counting on you to lose big tonight, so I can. tongue.gif J/K wink.gif Course the scale isn't looking that great to me right now and can't imagine it will by Friday. rolleyes.gif

I hope your family had a great Halloween as well.

Take care of yourself today. Sounds like things are very busy for you and you know we tend to let ourselves go last when we get busy. Put yourself first at least one time today. hug.gif

Ah Terri, you are making me sniffle. happy.gif I can really tell you are back on track today. You have a smile on your face, I know it. I can feel it.

Don't look back at that teeny tiny gain. Move forward and keep on trucking. Just think of yourself as a train. They move forward, not backwards. They may move slow at times, but they still get to where they want to go. You will too. hug.gif cheerleader.gif

I never thought of it that way - a train. Sounds like a great visual too me, I'll remember that when the dark days return. I am not inviting them back but just being logical that they will return some day. smile.gif

Well, I'm a bit quirky and for some reason a train popped into my head. tongue.gif You know when you read those kid train books, I can't remember one of them, but says something about "chug chug chuggin along". Well some days I feel like a train. Some days I chug really really slow (like going up a hill, oooh just reminded me the train book where the train says "I think I can, "I think I can"). Ok, I'm really a dork today. Anyways, other days I'm chugging along so fast it feels great.

Am I making any sense? laugh.gif

Good afternoon, well last night I went on a binge, don't know why, not stressing about it, just put a big black X on my journal and I am moving forward today and this is the beginning of my week. I will eat CORE, journal and get some activity in, even if it is just horizontal activity. wink.gif blush.gif I got all my water in yesterday so hopefully that will help. This weekend is not to crazy, will get my hair chopped off, finally. Why is that men go faithfully for their haircuts every 5 weeks but women (me) put it off because we (me) don't have the time or $$. Oh well, can't wait to have it done.

Gotta run here, boss wants me to work on our web page and thanks to the new explorer internet explorer 7 I can have all the windows I want open as tabs and not individual windows. (scary what I can get excited about).

Off to do some work and drink my water.

Okay, sad.gif lost another week. After my binge, things were really hard. Thomas is now sick puke.gif and has been since Tuesday, high fever and now the runs. We had a crazy weekend at home between hockey and the full moon the boys drove me nuts. The CORE program was working for me even when I was at my darkest place this past week. I had WI last night and am very pleased to report a 2 pound loss. I am going to be working on my focus this week and will keep these off and get more off of me. Sorry to not be around, will try and post more, it helps to come here and post. Thanks for being here for me.
