Thanks Karen, I think one day long ago I removed all my important dates from the calendar here. I think I was going through a major pity party/poor me funk. So I can totally relate to how you are feeling. Will send some be happy/rejuvinated vibes your way. May you feel better soon.

Good morning, 1 more day til WI. Still trucking along here, not much new to report. Eating pretty much CORE and drinking all my water. Still haven't recovered from Saturday at the EX, my legs are still pretty bruised. Will have to start a regular excerise regime once the kiddies are back on schedule with school and all and we don't have these extra weekend trips with all th walking. Well we will be doing something this Sunday as we go to Cambridge and finally see my side of the family again. Gotta run and deal with some stuff here- will check back in later today.

Remember to love yourself today. love2.gif smile.gif

Well one of my leaders once told me that if Mom isn't happy then the rest of the family isn't. I have found this to be too true recently.

Good morning, things are pretty good here. WI is tonight and I am expecting a gain as I mentioned previously, but hey after 12years of marriage whats a gain on the scales for a night together. I am almost done drinking all my required water for today and had a healthy breakfast, unsweetened applesauce with fibre 1 cereal sprinkled on top with some berries. Lunch is a salad with tuna, pickled hot pepper rings, radishes and cuccumbers, yummy, 2 source yougurts (I think they are the desserty flavours- like chocolate cherry and lemon meriangue pie.)some grapes and if I am still hungry I have 2 baked chocolate/oatmeal muffins for when the munchies hit. Gotta run and do some work here, they expect that of me every now and then rolling_smile.gif , will pop back in later.

Okay, so I am here now and am willing to admit that my 12 year anniversary cost me a 1.8 pound gain and I am really okay with it. I have a new resolve and am going to take that off and more to get my body back moving on the gazelle. I am challenging myself to do at least 4 days this week on my gazelle plus any other activity that we may do will be extra. I have a great lunch packed and my breakfast is the same as yesterday. Supper is whole wheat pasta and tomatoe sauce with mixed veggies or a salad. Just getting ready to have my breakfast and water, gotta run, work calls - will try and get back later today. smile.gif

hug.gif yourself today. smile.gif

Glad you aren't letting the weight gain get to you. You've been doing so awesome Terri that you know this gain is because of your anniversary splurge so you can move forward knowing that everything you are doing is making a difference. Great job! thumb.gif

I'll be gone the next few days and then pretty sporadic til my conference is done (9/9-13) and then Kylie's party and company will be 9/16-18 with both girls doc appointments thrown in on the 14th. wacko.gif

I've decided it's just too stressful right now to focus on myself and will get back to the grind when this is all over. This conference could mean a H U G E bonus, well it should mean a huge bonus so I'm completely married to this conference right now. rolleyes.gif Soon.........I'll be back wink.gif.

Keep it up, you are truly my inspiration and you are doing so well. hug.gif hug.gif

Thanks Karen, I can relate for needing a break when your real life gets in the way. Sounds like your birthday was a good one, enjoy your time with the girls right now, sounds like you will be running like a mad woman until almost the beginning of October. Just remember to take care of yourself and hug.gif hug those girls daily whether they are awake or sleeping. They will give you all the strength you will need to carry on. Have fun camping, I seriously couldn't camp unless we took an RV with us, I am more one for the hotel, now don't get me wrong when the power went out at the cottage I roughed it , carrying water up from the lake to flush and all, and boiling water on the bbq to cook but I draw the line at sleeping outside on the ground. Okay I ahve run on at the mouth enough blahblah.gif . Have fun and will look for you more around the beginning of October and if I don't see you - I will send out a search party.

Terri

PS I will post todays Journal entry in another post.

Good Friday Morning, woohoo.gifelephant.gifgreenapple.gifbanana2.gifbanana2.gifgreenapple.gifelephant.gifwoohoo.gif

Yes I am quite upbeat and happy this morning as I am at home and not at work. I took the day off for some of the extra time I put in for the boss. So the boys and I are here hanging out. They have hair appointments at 11:30am, then off to McDonalds for lunch for them and then we are off to Woody Wood Chucks, a knock off of Chuck E Cheese. We promised them this all summer and kept putting it off so I decided to do it today. DH doesn't really like going to this place, he says the games suck, anyway he doesn't understand that as long as they are happy we should be. I also have all the patience in the world to just sit and wait for the boys to play, he can't.

I got on the gazelle last night during Big Brother and did 2 miles in 22 minutes. I was quite inmpressed, so got 1 day in of 4, will do it later today to get my 2nd day in. Just sitting here drinking my coffee, got start some laundry (the boys) and get some breakie, maybe an omlette for a change and get these boys moving. I may be MIA a little today after 11am as mentioned above, will try and get on here again after our day out.

Terri, will definitely get my water and extra activity in today. smile.gif

Good chilly Saturday morning. I had a great time yesterday with the boys, except at dinner. Hubby decided that he wanted Italian sandwiches from San Frans and of course I had some too. That was the only thing I ate except for the omelette yesterday morning. Things will be better today. We don't have much planned except grocery shopping and hanging around here. It is overcast and supposed to rain all day. The house is now 71 degrees and chilly. Oh well, gotta love fall weather.

Didn't get on the gazelle last night but after walking for 4 hours around Woodie Wood Chucks and getting in some late night blush.gif activity I think I deserved a break. I will get on it sometime today, tommorow and Monday. Still have to do 4 days this week.

I am off now, will be in and out sporadically throughout the day. I will make today a CORE day, gotta make up for yesterday. Enjoy your day and remember to hug yourself.

blush.gif Oh my goodness, where did I lose 12 days. I have slipped into a bit of a bad place and am now pulling myself up off the floor. I was able to only gain .2 2 weeks ago and maintained this week. I am very happy for that. Today I have made a new resovle to do this. I will lose this extra weight, I will get healthy, I will use my gazelle and I will not be this size anymore. I have had it. I don't want to be obese anymore, it just sucks. (sorry had to get that out)

I am ready to re-commit again and will do it. I have great nutrious food packed for lunch and had a great breakie, supper will be pasta and veggies. I am going to go grocerey shopping tommorow night and will fill the house up with healthy foods, I mean I have no one to blame but me as I do all the food shopping and put food into my mouth. I just have to start putting me first. I will also be here more and post when I can. Work is nutso right now up until January when we slow down again, so if I go MIA that is most likely what has happened but no worries, I know where you all are and I will always come back to my great support group here.

Okay, gotta run and get some work done before the boss comes in. I will check in later. (oh ya, I am reading the posts daily just haven't the time to post much but I am usually here)

Terri
smile.gif I will do it for me.

Hey Terri! I've missed you, being gone so much lately I've been slacking too. Sunday I am starting a new week, new beginning and a new determination to meet my goal. I want to be in a really nice slender looking dress by the 1st week of December for a work party I have to go to in Chicago. I HAVE to get to where I want to be. I'd love to be a bit farther with my goal by then but realistically I won't get there. So in just a few days I'll be right back on the grind with ya. thumb.gif

Good morning. Looking rather grey hear outside but inside the sun is shinning. sun.gif I am in a real better place right now. Got my activity in last night, 30 minutes and 2.5 miles later on the gazelle. Felt great, now all I have to work on is getting to 3 miles in 30 minutes then I will increase my time on the gazelle.

Food was awesome yesterday, I made homemade spaghetti sauce with extra lean ground pork and DH loved it. And it was all OP. Today is Friday, thank goodness, because I have no good foods left in the house. Have to go grocery shopping tonight. I have been struggling all week to prepare good suppers because I have no healthy side dishes to serve. and I was panicking and said that to DH I have no food in the house, he is like, "What do you mean the freezers are packed with meats". Duh, I cannot live on meat alone, I need veggies, fruit and potatoes. So I am off to the grocery store tonigth to stock up.

DH is also ready to start eating better because if he doesn't shed about 20-30 pounds the doctor is putting him on bloodpressure meds and he really doesn't want them. He isn't ready to go fully over to Weight Watchers but wants to go out this weekend himself to find easy breakfast solutions and lunches he can take to work, without the hassel of making stuff. So I say, all the power to him, as long as I don't have to pack his lunch too, well I would if he really wanted me to and asked nicely. blush.gif Okay, this is turning into a blahblah.gif novel so I will sign off saying I am back in the saddle and not letting go. smile.gif

Terri

PS thanks again for the hugs and welcome back, I will try and get over and see how you are all doing again. hug.gif back at ya hug.gif hug.gif .

Okay on to day 3 here. Had a good night last night, did the gazelle for 30 minutes and worked my bum off. Was going to have a snack, got it all out and ended up only eating 1/4 of the planned snack so I didn't have to use as many point, yeah me. So onto today, am just now having brunch - 2 egg omlette with ff cottage cheese, olives, hot peppers anid salsa, I know sounds weird but is super yummy. I can't get ff cheese up hear other than cottage so I am using that. I also had an apple to start off the meal, oh ya don't forget the water. Just starting on my 3 litres now. Not much else is going on this weekend, DH is out right now and the boys are quiet for the moment. Gonna run now and finish eating and will get on the gazelle later today. Oh, almost forgot, gotta love it when AF shows up early, hopefully she will leave just as promptly. There are only 2 good things about her these days when she arrives 1) I am not PG and 2) she helps with weight loss if you exercise while beginning your cycle. (sorry maybe TMI)

See ya all later, off to enjoy the rest of my day.

Terri you don't change your ticker for your weight lose. It has to be more than 13 lbs by now. Keep up the great work. And anniversaries are for celebrating. So good for you. you have to enjoy life too. Congrats on 12 years.

Good night Marie. Thank you Angela and welcome to the board, haven't welcomed you yet. I have been doing WW since re-commiting in May and am pleased with losing those 13 pounds but have had some ups and downs throughout the summer. Now I am back at it again and am working towards moving that ticker closer to the end goal real soon.

Thanks again ladies,

Terri

Good morning, we were up early but I haven't had breakfast yet. I am going to have shredded wheat cereal with a banana. Right now we are draining our pool right now and I am baking oatmeal/banana squares, they are a yummy CORE treat for me. Today we don't have much planned right now except for work around the house as long as the sun will come out and co-operate with us. This will be short and sweet right now. Will check back in later today. smile.gif

Good morning, yesterday was a great day on program. Actually I had my first OP weekend in a long time. We got the pool all down and in the house. I cut the lawn and got 30 minutes on the gazelle, so I got all my actiivty in. The sun did manage to come out for some of the day so that was nice. We had a nice roast beef dinner, with baked potatoes and veggies. Today is another great day, the sun is shinning, at least for now and I have all my food packed and supper is on the counter thawing as I work the day away. Gonna run and get some work down.

Remember to hug yourself and drink all your water today. smile.gif
