Okay it is Wednesday. I didn't get on the gazelle last night, things were tense around the house and I just didn't want to. Tonight is WI and I am anxious to see what the scale will say, I am only asking for 1 down, I will gladly take more, I just hope all that hole digging paid off. I know my legs are smaller as my once tight pants are a feeling a little more comfortable these days and my bigger size pants are just too big now, but I won't get rid of them til I am down at least 25 pounds, they are still wearable, just real loose. Okay gonna run, got a bit of work here to do so I will be back later, drink up peeps. smile.gif

Good morning, I know I should be happy, I lost .2 of a pound but after talking to my mom last night I feel like I gained 20 pounds. She really has a negative affect on me when she isn't being supportive of what I am doing. I told her that I had lost .2 then she never said a word. I proceeded to tell her that my clothes are loser and I am feeling great, still no response. Needless to say I got off the phone quickly after that and felt aweful growl.gif bawling.gif . I couldn't come here and post because all I wanted to do was cry bawling.gif . I am feeling a bit better today, I know I will lose the weight and have decided to not tell her how I am doing everyweek and only give her monthly updates because she just brings me down. I mean heck, I have lost on average 2 pounds a week for the last 4 weeks. If I keep that average up I will be 100 pounds lighter by this time next year. I am going to do this. Sorry this turned into a rant but I needed to get it out. If you read this far, hugs and thanks. She was a major reason I stopped going to WW back in April 05, I couldn't face her every week so I just gave up on me. Okay gonna go now and drink some water, take care and have a great day.

Oh Terri, I'm sooo sorry! hug.gif hug.gif hug.gif I think we all have one person in our lives that will bring us down.....I've got several. You made the right decision in not updating her every week.

We are all proud of you here! You are doing so fabulously and even more, motivating others....I'm one that you really motivated so I can thank you for every little smidgling of fat I lose. Any time I come on here and see posts from you, Karen, & Rocky its like a little cricket on my shoulder telling me to do the right thing....eat right, go exercise, drink some water.

You will do this!!! I know you will. hug.gif

hug.gif Terri. I am so sorry your mother had to be that way. You sure we don't share mothers? rolleyes.gif Anyways, you should be SO proud of yourself. I know .2 pounds doesn't sound like much but #1 you are NOT gaining and #2 you have made AWESOME improvements to your life and that's the first step, IMO. You've lost a lot of weight so far so you just had one 'off' week. Next week you'll knock the socks off that scale. thumb.gif Keep up the great work.

wavey.gif Good morning, I am in a way better place today then I was yesterday. biggrin.gif I am just a little frazzeled as we are having 30 people over tommorow for a bbq and celebrate some birthdays. DH bbq's and I just have to prep everything and I still haven't cleaned or made a cake. I might just buy the cake at the local grocery store, strip the flowers off of it and add some candy for decoration and write HAPPY BIRTHDAY on it. Other than that, and another party to go to on Sunday there isn't much else happening. Oh I forgot we get our pool tommorow morning too, that should be interesting, while trying to get ready for the party. Okay gonna run and get some work done. I did my gazelle last night then had a Cadbury Thin Mint flavoured yummy and only 2pts, I earned 8 so that is okay.

Drinking my water,

Terri

Okay, another lost weekend. We were way busy and I spent all day Saturday on my feet with the BBQ and all. It turned into more of an open house, drop in as you please, not what we were planning. Then we had 1 family spend the night and leave by 8:30am so I am bushed today. After they left we cleaned the house, let the kids swim in the pool grandma & pappa gave them then we went to another party for a friend of Thomas's. They had a blast. Came home and they swam again then it was bedtime. I am zonked today. snooze.gif No gazelle this weekend but lots of moving around and some extra activity. wink.gif

Today I am back on track and will get on the gazelle after Matthew's soccer game if it is not rained out. I am sitting at work drinking my water and waiting til 5pm to go home.

Good morning. Well it is pouring rain outside right now and well it sucks. I did not get on the gazelle last night because my DS(not so dear) Thomas decided he would have a 1.5 hour nap at the sitters after school yesterday afternoon. So after Matthew's soccer game (they lost but Matthew scored his first goal, 3-1) they swam and Thomas did not fall asleep til 10:30pm and I was not getting on the gazelle at that time. I do do it late at night but 9:30pm is the latest I will get on it. So I put him to bed after sitting on the couch til 11pm. I am struggling right now and am not sure why. I think my mom had a greater impact on me then I first realized. I have to find my happy self again and get my butt in gear. I am at work now drinking my water and staying positive. Oh, well. Will check back in later.

Terri

Don't be hard on yourself....you're doing great!!!

Here is a link to an article about beating burnout.

Another thing that helps me when I need to keep motivated is if I buy Muscle and Fitness Hers or Oxygen magazine. I don't buy them all the time now because I figured out that they start repeating the articles after a while but the pictures of all those fit bodies always motivates me.

Just try to really remind yourself why you are doing it and don't let external forces (aka Mom rolleyes.gif ) get you down. hug.gif hug.gif hug.gif

Thanks Jeanie, unfortunately just looking at those magazines really depresses me even more, it has been a real long time (since I was 18) that I even looked remotely like the average girl that the pics of really fit and buff women don't motivate me. I know you mean well. Thanks for the support it really means a lot to me.

Take care,

Terri

Okay it is Wednesday and I am dreading WI tonight after this past weekend. I did get on the gazelle last night and I added my walk on Monday to my activity so I made my goal this week for activity. Next week I am upping the time to 40 minutes a day. I may split this to 30 gazelle, 10 walking/stretching or try and do all 40 on the gazelle. Not sure yet. I felt really good after my workout, I gotta remember that feeling for the times I don't want to do it. On a light note, Matthew asked me last night as I was tucking him into bed,"Mom, did you do your exercise?" I replied, "yes", he says "That's good." and went to sleep. It is the little things like this that keep me smiling blush.gif . Okay sitting at work here, half my water already in and trying to keep busy. Take care will check back in later.

Good morning, as some of you may have noticed my ticker changed this week and I am very happy about it for a few reasons. I work in the party/event rental industry and June is a really nutso month and I usually have a hard time maintaining my cool, let alone my weight. Anyway, this last month I have dropped 10.4 pounds and kept my cool the whole month. I just wanted to let the newbies konw that CORE really rocks and is a real lifestyle that the average person can live with and drop the pounds with it. Now on to the next 10. Today is a fresh new week and we are heading into a long weekend and will conquer it and lose weight this week. I really enjoy coming here and posting in my journal, thanks to Rod and Deedee for setting this up. Okay gonna run now got some work to do.

Good morning, or I should say great morning. I am doing pretty good, got my exercise in last night and pushed it to 37 minutes instead of the 35 I was going to do. My song on my mp3 wasn't over and I wanted to finish the song. Things are going good, we have a busy weekend planned again so I may or may not be around much til Sunday night or Monday. Gonna run and get some work done here (not) rolling_smile.gif . Have a great day.

Okay, another weekend ran away from me. We spent Saturday in Cambridge for their Canada Parade, then at my sisters for a BBQ. Sunday and Monday were spent swimming in the easy up pool. I did scan the pic of me as a kid but DH's computer never did email it me so I will look into it tonight. I know I wasn't on program all weekend but I did make good choices so I have no clue as to what will happen tommorow night. The gazelle sat quite most of the weekend as I spent Sunday and most of Monday in the pool with the boys so I am counting that as my activity for the most part. I will get on it tonight. Off to fill up my water bottle, have a great day everyone.

Sounds like you had some ups and downs since I've been gone, but you definitely sound 'up' now. That's great Terri. Your weight loss is awesome and your hard work is paying off. Keep it up, you can do this....one day at a time, one pound at a time. hug.gif

Now off to post in my journal since it's been so long. blush.gif

Good morning, today I weigh in after work. I am really not sure how it is going to go, I would be happy to just stay the same this week. I feel like I am slipping back into some old habits and I am going to nip them in the butt right here and now. I am not going to gain back the weight I have already lost and I am going to lose more. I am at work right now and it is a real slow week so I am finding more time on my hands so instead of going to the vending machines I am drinking my water and then having more water. Yesterday I managed to drink 4.5 litres which is 18 glasses of water ohmy.gif . I don't believe it but I did. Okay gotta get some stuff done here. Will check back in later.

Keep up that positive attitude! That's more important than whether you gained or lost sometimes....being able to stay positive and motivated.

Hope the weigh goes well for you!!!
