Hi everyone-
Been MIA for awhile now. Have been on vacation and away from the computer for much of the week. Hope everyone had a great holiday! I see we have some new additions- a belated CONGRATULATIONS KIMBERLY on the birth of little Kaleigh. What a pretty name- hope it all went well and that you are enjoying your special little Christmas present. Anyone else? We have our own little addition. We adopted another shelter dog- a little pitbull mix who just underwent major knee reconstruction. I agreed to foster her through her recovery, knowing no one else would want a "special needs" dog. She's really still a puppy(about 9 months?), and badly wants to play, and it's rough keeping her quiet so she doesn't re-injure herself, but I know once she heals, she's gonna be a great little dog. Kudos to dh who is not the animal lover that I am, but agreed to take her in nonetheless. Anyway, my friends all think I'm nuts, but sometimes impulsive, irrational decisions such as this have a way of working out in the end. Looking forward to catching up on all that I missed. Missed you all! -------------------- Jeanne

Welcome back. So are you keeping the dog for good or just until it heals? I bet it's pretty cute.
