the midwife came today to do the pku test (heel prick) and weigh Kaleigh. she is almost an ounce over birth weight lol. she is definitely a good eater! they say it can take up to 3wks to get back to birth weight. the mw did the first heel prick but it wasn't good enough so she had to do it again. Kaleigh barely even flinched either time what a tough cookie! she is not a sleeper tho so i am i think the longest she has gone is 3 hours in a row once but she will go right back down after eating.
funny.. the mw said it was almost like a water birth because her face was born into the intact sack of waters and they had to peel it all away from her face and it broke then. -------------------- mama to Jacob, James, Jade, Kaleigh and Riley!!

Wow... she is a good little eater. And, what a trooper she is! I just loved the pics, she's so pretty. It makes me want to hold her in real life.
Glad to hear you got your "water birth" after all. I'm still anxious to hear the full story about the kitchen floor. (I hope I haven't missed the post somewhere) -------------------- |
