The tech said 'your bladder is so full it may have pushed the cyst out of the way...I can't see it....but you do know there's two in there, right?' All I could utter was 'Oh my God'. I'll never forget telling DH when I got home that he had nothing important to talk about on the phone because I had something important to tell him and to hang up! LOL. Gabe had bumped his head pretty badly and he was talking with the advice nurse at the ped office. So I flashed the picture at him and he said 'two babies? twins?!' I will never forget this day a year ago. I had overslept, so when I called L&D to come in for induction they told me to call back at 9am and they thought I could be admitted at 10am. The nurse told me to call before I came. They checked me and I had not really dialated. I was given the option for a c-sec or to try vaginal. I wanted to try vaginal, so they hooked me up to a pitocin drip. I was so slow with dialation. The OB who took over the next shift gave me a few options to get things going. One option was breaking my water. I told him to go for it. Within two hours (give or take) we were welcoming Hannah Elise. Eight minutes later we welcomed a very wide eyed Olivia Rose. I've learned a lot in this first year and I know there is still more to come. I am grateful for healthy, happy little girls. I never thought that I would parent daughters after giving my first born daughter up for adoption at birth 13 yrs ago. I am so grateful for Hannah and Olivia, and the joy that they bring to our family. They adore their brothers and they are truly Daddy's Little Girls!
