FINALLY had a date!

DH and I finally had a date. It's maybe the third one we've had all year since Wil was born. MIL was visiting, so we took the opportunity to go to a movie and dinner. We got to the theatre early, so we went in the arcade and raced each other on some racecar video game! It was fun to laugh together! We tried playing air hockey too but there was a line. We saw Wedding Crashers which was hilarious! It was in a theatre where the seats recline and the arm rests go up, so DH put the arm rest up and put his arm around me. We snuggled!!!!! It was great!

The funny thing is though...I'm always complaining that we never go out, but as soon as we do, I miss Wil terribly and want to get home. And when we're out, DH and I look at each other like "what do we do now?"

OMG that sounds awesome, I think Sal and I have been out together once since Tripp was born we need to do that. The snuggling sounded so nice but you are right as soon as you leave you miss them and want to run right back

That's great!!! I'll be honest I don't know how you do it not getting a break from parenthood! Rick and I go out at least every other weekend, if we didn't I think we'd be divorced by now b/c those dates definitely keep us connected where as during the week b/tw work and running to football practice and play dates and cleaning and cooking and bathing kids...we're too exhausted to even talk at the end of the day!

AWWWWW Well we do the same thing we get out without Alyssa and then after an hour or so we can't wait to get home and see her again!!
