Make sure he has something to drink and leave him alone. It's what he likes best.

Pretty much the same I do for the kids when they are sick. Pamper, feed, and let them sleep.

When he is down - I let him know I am here for him and try to cheer him up but let him work it out on his own.

I just let him sleep it off, make sure he has medicine, food or drinks, and try to keep the kids from bugging him. He doesn't get sick often though.

Let him sleep, and make sure he eats something. He has a tendancy not to eat anything when he is sick.

Let's just say if he wore a diaper, I'd end up having to change him! I make sure he gets fluids/food... keep the house quiet, make him get in bed and cover him up and pet his face and twiddle his hair (he loves that, rofl) and tickle his back (run fingernails up and down his back real light) and stuff like that.

If he's depressed, I have to stay away from him or he'll end up snapping at me... he likes to be alone at those times.

I always do funny things!! Like this morning..he wasn't down per say, just end of the week blues and wanting to stay in the bed.

Well...I got him up and I cut the hot shower on for him like I do every morning..and then before he came in the bathroom, I fixed the shower head so it was pointed straight down and wasn't hitting the back of the shower and I got in the back of the tub and pulled the curtain closed, whne he came in the bathroom, he got undressed and opened the shower curtain and then saw me standing there, with my hair all done and makeup on and work clothes on..standing in the back of the shower..he just started laughing and was like WHAT ARE YOU DOING?????
I said "making you laugh"

I give him little chuckles all of the time! wink.gif

If she's in the mood I rub her feet or massage her back. Otherwise she usually likes to be left alone. I've learned to heed that advice wink.gif
