I was reading about the children say the darnest things>

Here is my example:

My son Tanner, when he was about 2 just getting potty trained. Was wearing the big boy whity tighty's and we were so proud..until one day

We were at the Dollar General grabbing some fast stuff. And there people all around us. And Tanner looks down at his shorts and he says in a loud very audible voice.." LOOK Mommie my Nuggets are hanging out of my shorts"

Now I freaked out, where did my child hear this and why in the world did he say this. I wanted to crawl somewhere and hide. My husband walked off and left me.

But it was too funny.

My middle son Justin got us good, when I first started dating Randy I guess Justin was 3 almost 4, Randy was brave and said he wanted to take us to Branson MO.
We had been riding for hours..and had to go to the bathroom. We stopped at an EZ Mart..the girls went with me and Justin went with Randy of course.

Randy said He let Justin go first.. Justin said to Randy, please turn around my Mom said that people I don't know shouldn't look at my privates..Randy said fine, and turned..then Justin was done.

Randy stepped up the toilet, and started us the restroom. Mind you Justin was about eye level to Randy's you know..He stepped up to Randy and looked at his u know..Randy said he was embrassed and didn't know what to say already..

Then Justin says to him..Yours is kinda small. I guess I shouldn't have hid.

Randy came out of the bathroom and wouldn't talk from Arkansas to Mo. It took me two days for him to tell me what happened in the restroom. And to this day 7yrs later he makes Justin turn around when he is peeing...loloolol

OMG that is hysterical!! laugh.gif rolling_smile.gif

I've posted this before but here goes:

When Maddie was about 2 we went to a craft store and there was this big blow up witch when we walked in. I looked at her waiting for her reaction b/c I thought she would be scared. She looked up at me and said "Mommy what is that?" I said "It is a witch." She left it at that. Then a little later as we were browsing the aisles she breaks out with "Momma is that a bitch...is that a bitch?" At first it is quiet enough that I can ignore it, but she kept getting louder and louder. All the while I am trying not to laugh. I kept telling her to be quiet and I had tears running down my face from laughing so hard. I've never been so embarrased. emlaugh.gif That was only the beginning. She embarrases me all the time now. rolleyes.gif She is a mess.

That is so funny! rolling_smile.gif

The worst thing one of my sons ever did was to throw a BIG fit in the middle of the mall. He was screaming at the top of his lungs when I had to scoop him up and bring him outside. I was so upset and embarrased that I couldnt figure out how to get out of there and ended up growing through a store with him screaming. I'm so surprised noone stopped me thinking I was stealing him b/c he kept screaming "I want my daddy!".

On a side note... it was a temper tantrum. He had some kind of issue where he would thrown really bad fits and we couldnt figure out why. I saw a show about kids having bad reactions to certain foods and it would throw them into violent fits. Was NO help to me since by then he had outgrown it. dry.gif

Oh all my kids have said something horrible.

Henry - He was about 3 and I was alone with him in the store. He was really quiet in the shopping cart - then after a few minutes, while we were in line and in ear shot of about 10 people, he looks up at me and very sweetly says "Daddy, are you still sick of me, or can I talk now?" GRR

Vincent - He once told a total stranger (who was very overweight) to get away from him because she was "fatting up his oxygen" I grounded him good for that!

Kelton - Daddy, I heard you screaming last night. Did you fall down? (I do NOT SCREAM! I was a light grunt thank you)

Tracy - You 'tink! - To anyone who gets near her.

Nicky once called me mommy for about 45 minutes in Wal-mart.

LOL! These stories are great!

I've posted this before as well...
I think Ashley was around 1-1/2 years old... We were in the grocery store and a lady close by us had passed some gas. Ashley kept pointing at her saying that she "tooted" At first she was kind of quiet and I tried to ignore it and walk down the aisle away from the lady. The further we got away from the lady, the louder Ashley got. I tried to distract her, and tell her it is not nice to point, nothing worked. She just kept pointing at her and saying, "Mommy, that girl TOOTED!" louder and louder. People around us were laughing. I know the lady heard her but I couldn't turn around to look at her, I was too embarrassed. blush.gif

Well, this wasn't my child but once when i was younger i was with my mom and my sister who was probaly 5 at the time and we were walking out of Pier 1 and the manager was holding the door open for us to walk out and my sister says "Mama, aren't you going to pay for that thing you put in your purse?"
My mom and I were so embarassed and we were telling her that there wasn't anything from the store in my mom's purse and Amber kept saying "well I saw you put something in there". The man was just laughing.
To this day we still have no idea what she was talking about.

Well since Hanna can't talk yet I haven't had this privelige yet wink.gif However, I do know that Desiree can say some embarrassing things. Once we were eating out at a restaurant (and I probably add fuel to the fire when it comes to people farting because I laugh hysterically at them) she shifted her butt up in the air and farted on the wooden booth might I add so loud that it could be heard through the whole restaurant, Brian turned beat red and was so mad at her for doing it but it was funny because he couldn't stop laughing because I was laughing so hard that I could barely breath! I bet people thought we were horrible parents, and I have tried to stop laughing at it so hard when kids do it because it makes them want to do it more but I just can't help it! blush.gif
