How do you stop your baby from chewing on the highchair straps? I used to prevent Ashley from chewing on them by wrapping the excess around the strap going around her belly. But, she has now learned how to unwrap it. And, of course she only chews on it when she has a mouth full of food. Sooo, I have to soak the highchair straps after every meal. No fun. What do you do?

I don't know what to suggest! My DD does the same thing, only it's not just her HighChair strap, but also the carseat strap, shoelaces, hatstrings and necklaces!

Jason chews on the high chair straps until I put a bib around his neck and over the straps.

I don't know what to suggest; I let Hannah chew on them. I got her highchair at a baby shower when I had Logan, so it's been through all 4 kids (or should I say all 4 kids have been through it?). I just soak them once a day (usually overnight), then just put them back on in the morning. The straps are easy to get on & off, so that's a good thing !
