Are you scared of labor? If yes then what are you scared of? If no how did you become unscared? I am personally terrified of it because I am afraid that something will go wrong or that my baby will not be healthy! banana.gif

I'm scared because I have zero pain tolerance! wacko.gif I cry when I have menstrual cramps because they hurt so bad so... you get the picture. tongue.gif I'll probably get an epidural but I'm afraid that of that too cuz I hate needles. rolleyes.gif

I was scared when I was pregnant, but I knew that it would all be worth while in the end! Even though it hurts, your baby is worth all of it and more! xx

I have 2 children. My first I went through 28 hours of labor and I didnt get an epidural until I was in my 24th hour. Then at 28 her heart rate droped and I had to have an emergency c-section. As for my son, I had him in January, He was a planned c-section. I had no choice due to a van hitting our vehicle and me sustaining injuries. I am a bit worried about this one because I have a bleeding disorder. Last time with Ryan they put an oxygen mask on my face and I didnt realize I was chlosterphobic(sorry bout spelling) and went into a panic attack while they were cutting me so I am a bit worried cause me going into a panic attack made them take 45 minutes to do the spinal tap.

I'm not scared of labor itself but yes, there are always those random thoughts in the back of my mind about the "what if's". I just try not to focus on them...I mean really, I can't do anything about them anyway right?

I know from experience that I can go through labor.

I am not scared of labor per se and really wasn't the first time. Well I guess I was til I went in then it didn't phase me. tongue.gif But I think I'm more scared of failing at a VBAC *if* I get to have one over having a c/s again.

I'm not really scared, i'm more anxious. I want to know what it's like and I want to see my baby. I'm a little nervous because it's my first and I know all the things that can go wrong, but I try not to think about that.
