Anytime, that is what these journals are for. I haven't been writing much, stressing too much about what is going on in real life right now. WI is tonight so we will see what happens.

Di,

I know what you mean about time. I can usually make time after the girls go to bed, but that's not until around 8 pm or so and Dh still needs to be around for the gazillion times the girls get up and down so I can focus on my workout. wacko.gif What I want to find time to do is go to the gym. I LOVED taking classes, but the only ones I enjoy are offered at 5:30 pm. So we'd have to rush to pick up the girls, put them in gym daycare so we can workout, then go home cook dinner, etc, etc. wacko.gif

see thats my problem right now is I have to wait till Kaitlin is in bed 8:30ish and right now with this dreary weather I am just so tried by that time I dont want to do it, as much as I dont want to get up earlier I am going to try just to see if I can get a work out in before the day begins, maybe once I get used to it it wont be a big deal and I can go to bed earlier to make up the time sleeping (well okay thats not going to happen)

Hi Di,

No worries about getting in your activity, it will come. I for the longest time struggled with getting it in, until I just put my foot down with the boys and told them I had to do this. When they were younger, I just tried to do it in little 10 minute spurts throughout the day. I would go up and down the stairs at home for 10 minutes then run off and do what needed to be done.. Even at work on my lunchtime I would do leg lifts under my desk as I ate and count that as some of my activity. Now that my boys are older there is no excuse for me not to do it, they are pretty self sufficient and know that dad can help them too.

Hang in there, it will all come together. I too tried the early morning route but that didn't last long as I am not a morning person.

Chin up, you have made the first step in planning it and trying to get it in.

I can totally relate to the lack of motivation, I was just wondering how you were doing, not worried about the scale movement. I agree that sometimes our clothes are a better reflection of how we are doing in our weightloss journeys.

Take care. hug.gif
