Has anyone used or heard of this?
Fenugreek? I wondered if it was safe and effective?
I need some ideas on how to increase milk supply for pumping. I am new to pumping and I am only getting about an ounce at a time, I have BF for 9 months.

100% safe and I've never used it personally, but I've heard it is very effective thumb.gif

Yep, I've used it for both girls. It worked ok for me, but I didn't get spectacular results with it. You have to take a lot of it in order for it to work and it makes you smell like maple syrup blush.gif

There is also a tea out with all natural herbs (including fenugreek) that supposedly increases milk production. For me it seemed to work although one of the herbs made my breath and skin smell like maple syrup.

It worked for me--got me over the hump. I agree--it is strange to be smelling like a cross between maple and curry but whatever it takes.

I didn't use Fenugreek but everyone swears by it. I used Fennel and Organic Mother's Milk Tea. I drank about 32 ounces of the tea a day. I also made sure I drank TONS of water/ fluids.

I just looked at the date of this post. thumb.gif good on your for your decision to continue.
