Me and marcus went to our first session and it was fun! Marcus is a very analytical thinker which keeps his brain on the go alll the time and im a planner so the pastor found it very interesting with our responses... And the first thing they had us to is a compatability test. And one question on it was... name 2 or 3 poeple in your lives that had or has a great impact on your life through thier experience, beilefs, etc. And marcus ays... GUANDI! OMG!!!! The pastor read over my answer and then turned to marcus and starts laughing. he then says out loud guandi... me and the pastor was laughing so loud... Marcus is like what? I cant remember what he said because to be honest i was laughing too much! Then the responses he found interesting... Like he between your parnst who is in charge of finances, discipline, etc etc etc. Then he says ok now we are goign to do between you 2... so he came to who is more effectionate etc, and i pointed to marcus and he pointed to himself. The pastor said interesting... I explained because marcus grew up in a household of very effectionate love, saying i love you all the time etc. i grew up in the opposite, we knew we loved each other just didnt show it. And then he asked who does the majority of household things.. I said me. then marcus chimed in and said i want to help out and pretty much beg her to let me help clean because i want to contribute to the household duties. The pastor looked at me and said Shelly... what you ahve here is very unique. LOL But we came away learning alot from each other, and learned knew ways of dealing with things. Our next session is tonight... Im looking forward to it:)

thanks! Yes it was enjoyable and good experience. I think marcus just make sit fun , he makes any nervous situation for me into a fun relaxing one... The pastor gave us ways of facing confrotation with marcus's sister( she can get pretty pushy and bad). For example if she says.. you need to do this now... we should say ok i heard what you said i will go and talk it over with marcus/shelly. Marcus said oh you mean i cants ay... Ok i hear you and while i talk with shelly can you go walk off this pier... laugh.gif Its funny!

Hmmm... seems sometimes it's good to have a moderator lay down the topics for discussion in order for us to learn more about each other. I'm glad you you had a good session and found it fulfilling.
