I took Kayla outside today to play and she HATED the grass. She would not get off the blanket for anything. She would reach over and touch it then draw her hand back and start fussin'. I was so darn cute and funny.

Please tell me she's not the only one who hates grass.

There are alot of kids like that....My 2 are the exception I think...They have always loved it. But I know alot of babies if they are bare feet...won't let you put them down.

Brooke hated it for the longest time - her whole first summer we couldn't go out without a blanket. Even if she had shoes/clothes on she wouldn't touch it.

She was fine last year though.

I still remember the first time I put Cameron on the grass! It was hilarious! He would tuck his feet in and put his hands in his lap! He was totally freaked out with grass! emlaugh.gif Maybe because it was so pokey and a different texture he had never felt before. But the more he got on the grass, the better he got. Now it doesn't bother him at all. rolleyes.gif It's just a new experience, that usually isn't that enjoyable for them at first. But isn't it the cutes when you see their reaction? happy.gif

My girls all hated it. It was the funniest thing! I would try to put them on the grass on their hands and knees and they would lift their arms and legs as far up as they could in order to avoid it. biggrin.gif
