I missed this post originally, but thanks for the post. In the light of all the lead-based paint recalls, we tend to forget about some of the other safety factors. Some of those toys are pretty scary -- broken necks -- OMG!

Thanks for this article! How easily we forget about all the other dangerous toys on the market. Marble/magnet swallowing and strangulation definitely top the charts for the most scary to me. Lead too, but we shouldn't forget the other potential hazards.

definitely can't forget about the toys that cause "bodily harm" its SCARY!! I won't get my child a trampoline and I would prefer if she didn't get on them at anyones house either. Even with the net around it and secured they can still be pretty dangerous
